it was now the next day at school
today was a short day to make room for the football game and homecoming
everyone was at school
except afeefa
jake had called and texted her multiple times
no answer from her
he decided to ditch his third period to go to her house to make sure she was okay
meanwhile afeefa had just woken up
"wow it must be early, my alarm didn't even go off yet" she said as she turned to check the time
her eyes popped out of her head when she realized how late she was
she saw how many missed calls and texts she had from everyone, especially jake
she flew out of bed and quickly put on some clothes and ran down the stairs
"um sweety, don't be mad but..." her mom said nervously while holding something behind her back
"mom i can't talk i'm so late why didn't you wake me up omg" afeefa said frustrated
"sorry i thought i should let you sleep because of this news i have to tell you" her mom said
"what mom hurry i gotta leave" afeefa said impatiently while stumbling to open the front door
"your dress shrunk in the dryer..." her mom said bringing the dress out from behind her back
afeefa slowly turned from the door to see her dress in her moms hands 3 sizes smaller
it looked like a toddler could fit in it
"i'm sorry i thought i should wash it because it had this big brown stain in the middle of it and-"
"THAT WASNT A STAIN MOM IT WAS THE DESIGN" afeefa yelled
"oh...then maybe it's good i washed it, you can go get another dress" her mom said not feeling guilty anymore seeing as the dress was hideous
"WHAT MOM?? HOMECOMING IS TODAY!!!" afeefa put her hands to her head
"it's ok i give you permission to skip school, seeing as it's my fault" her mom said calmly
"UGH OMG" afeefa exclaimed as she ran out of the house
she saw jake pull up in his car at that moment and ran to the car
she threw open the car door and jumped in
"DRIVE" she yelled
"WHAT? WHERE?" he asked
"THE DRESS SHOP" she said pointing forward

hajra and laila were sat in third period waiting for jake and afeefa to arrive
"where the hell are they?" laila asked
"i don't know, neither of them texted" hajra said looking at her phone
"you think they skipped together?" laila asked
"uhhhh probablyyy" hajra said wondering what they may be up to
just then they got a text from the group

AFEEFA: GUYS EMERGENCY MEET ME AT THE DRESS SHOP ILL EXPLAIN ‼️
LAILA: what the hell?? just explain now??
AFEEFA: OMG OK MY MOM WASHED MY DRESS AND IT SHRUNK SO I NEED A NEW ONE AND I NEED HELP PLS 🙏🙏
JEONGHAN: thank god, that dress was hideous 🤢

"you still didn't tell me why we're going???" jake said driving towards the dress shop

sana asked to use the bathroom and walked out of the class
"where are you heading?" a compass security asked
"uh i'm going to the restroom" she said nervously
"the restrooms are that way" he said pointing to the opposite side of the school
"oh- well..uhhhh"
sana didn't know what to say and just ran
as she was running another campus security came from where she was running to
sana was blocked on both ends of the hallway and didn't know where to go as the security walked closer to her from both sides
just then beomgyu opened the door to one of the classrooms and grabbed sanas hand and ran off dodging the security
they made it outside and headed to each car

hajra and laila were sat in class wondering how they'll both get out
laila then saw yeonjun and farwa run passed the classroom and farwa motioned for her to come and follow
laila got up and ran out
"WHERE DO YOU THINK YOURE GOING?" the teacher yelled out to laila
"THE BATHROOM BYE" laila yelled out from outside the classroom
"UH UH I HAVE TO GO TOO" hajra said as she ran out the room too
"BOTH OF YOU ARE GONNA BE IN BIG TROUBLE" the teacher yelled out to them
hajra and laila caught up to yeonjun and farwa and continued to run
they turned the corner to see jay caught by security
the security saw the four kids who just turned the corner
jay took this opportunity to get out of the securities grip and run
farwa, laila, hajra, and yeonjun all ran passed the overwhelmed security who didn't even try catching them
"oh who cares i don't get paid enough for this" the security threw his hands up and didn't even try catching them

shabeela and jeonghan were sat in their classroom
they turned to nod to each other before getting up to ditch class
the two ran out while the teachers back was turned
vernon was about to enter the class room when the door flew open and shabeela and jeonghan ran down the hall
he didn't even enter the class and instead ran behind them as he was curious
and he had some words he would like to share with shabeela
"GET BACK IN CLASS WHOEVER LEFT" the teacher yelled
shabeela and jeonghan were running down the halls with vernon not too far behind them
joshua also ran out of a class almost bumping into shabeela
"woah hey babe" he smiled and continued to run
vernon slowed down for a second hearing this
did they make up? why is she with him again... he thought for a second then continued to run behind them
"what is he doing here???" joshua said to shabeela and jeonghan looking back at vernon
"huh?" shabeela turned around
"when did you get here?" jeonghan asked
"uh- i wanted to talk to shabeela.." vernon said
"cant right now" shabeela said still running
"come on let's stop for a moment and talk" he said starting to get out of breath
"vernon if it's about yesterday then just let it go ok, you know nothing about it" shabeela explained to him
"wtf did i miss" jeonghan said
"but shabeela-"
"she said leave it alone vernon" joshua cut him off
vernon left it alone and stopped trying to make them stop running
but he continued to run with them
hoping to find out what they were up to
joshua noticed him still running behind them and sneakily tripped him
as vernon fell shabeela looked back and was about to help him up and she saw security turning the hall
joshua grabbed shabeela and made her keep running leaving vernon on the floor
vernon quickly got up and barely escaped the security
they all made it outside with vernon a little behind them
everyone was already running out as well so joshua unlocked his car and everyone jumped in
shabeela unlocked hers and all the girls got in as well
vernon ran for his life with security right behind him
vernon made it to the car and banged on the door but they were locked and joshua drove away
vernon was caught by security
