laila felt guilty
she shouldn't have been so mean to afeefa
even if she deserved it
she can't have enemies on the second day of school
so she decided to go apologize
she overheard afeefa telling jake she'll see him at practice
so that's probably where she is
laila headed over to the football field where they had practice and saw afeefa sana and farwa in the stands and jeonghan yeonjun and jake on the field talking to the girls
afeefa sees laila approaching her
"laila? what are you doing here?" afeefa said sort of with a tone
"i came to apologize" laila said quietly feeling ashamed
"apologize? for wha- oh" afeefa talked before remembering what happened earlier
laila apologized and afeefa accepted it
she knew how laila felt
that's how afeefa felt at first too
"by the way i'm jake" he introduced himself "i don't think we got to meet earlier"
"oh ya sorry about that" laila said
"it's fine" he replied
"EW wtf are you doing here too" sana said to laila approaching her
"why can't i be here" laila said back
"jake do you need help? are these girls bothering you" sana said to a confused jake
"um no? i'm fine thanks" he said
he looked at afeefa and laila confused and then smiled and shook his head
oh his smile is the cutest thing in the world- but he asked about hajra afeefas thoughts started out happy before remembering
"just leave them alone sana" yeonjun said to her
"huh? what? why are you defending them!?" sana said in shock
why was her boyfriend going against her
he never did that
"i'm not defending them i'm just saying don't cause trouble" he said while sighing as if he was tired
"oh so you think i'm trouble" sana said offended
"no that's not what i meant" he tried explaining
"no no thats fine i'll just leave" she started walking off
"have fun with your boyfriend farwa" she said smiling to them before giving yeonjun a look and walking off
yeonjun sighed again and left to the field
"what was that about" jeonghan asked confused as ever
"i don't know but i'm leaving too" farwa said
"hey no you can't, practice isn't over" jeonghan said
"omg are you really gonna keep me here the whole time, just give me your homework so i can do it while i wait at least" she said tired of his games
"mmmmm no" he said before running off to the field
farwa was sick of this boy

shabeelas parked outside of the field
shabeela honks her horn in the car
sana sees her as she's walking off the field
"what are you doing here?" sana asked confused
"here give this to that guy in the black shirt on the field" shabeela said pointing to a tall muscular senior
she held out a piece of paper with a 7 digit number on it
"you mean joshua!?" sana asked "you like joshua!?"
"why is that so surprising?" shabeela asked
"idk i never knew you even liked people" sana said
"ya ya whatever just go give it to him" shabeela said shooing her sister off
"i can't go back there i'm mad at yeonjun" sana said to her
"ok you're probably gonna be all over him tomorrow again just go" she shooed her once more
sana sighed and snatched the paper from shabeelas hand and started walking toward the field again
"hey are you joshua" she asked completely knowing who he was
everyone knew joshua
every boy knew him as an amazing player, football of course
every girl knew him as someone so untouchable
he never had a girlfriend for all 4 years of high school
and it's not like he couldn't either
girls practically threw themselves at him
maybe he didn't have time
maybe he didn't care
maybe he was gay
but then wouldn't be have a boyfriend by now?
it's not like boys didn't steal glances of his arms every once in a while
who knows the real reason he's single
joshua ignored the girl asking for him name
"hello??" sana said annoyed
yeonjun stared at them two
he started walking over
sana saw him approaching
"here take this!" she shoved the paper in joshua's hands and ran before yeonjun could get to them
joshua looked at the paper and realized it was a number
he knew it wasn't from sana, she was with yeonjun
he looked to where sana was running and saw a parked car with a girl in the drivers seat
the girl waved to him
he looked at the paper again and threw it in the air
he continued with practice

shabeela saw joshua throw her paper with her number on it
she was offended
"uh- did he just throw my paper?!" shabeela said in disbelief
"so i walked over there for nothing ??" sana said
shabeela then saw jeonghan talking to joshua
"hmm they must be friends" shabeela said
"i mean they're on the same team?" shabeela states the obvious
sana looked at shabeela thinking
"what are you thinking" sana asked curious
"nothing. get in the car" shabeela said

next day at school
shabeela tries again for joshua
she stood at her locker trying to take every book out
she saw joshua and jeonghan coming down the hall her way
she had to act fast
she threw herself in the middle of the hallway dropping all her books
"owwwww" she said in pain while holding her knee
joshua just walked passed her not even looking in her direction
shabeela was disappointed
her plan didn't work and how her knee hurted
"woah you okay?" jeonghan asked to the girl still on the floor holding her knee
"shut up i don't need your help" she said still looking at joshua walking away
"i wasn't gonna help you anyways i was just asking" jeonghan said walking away catching up to joshua
hmm they must be close, they even hang out outside of football practice shabeela thought
