laila and soobin heard banging on the door
"LET ME IN"
"oh my gosh it's yeonjun" laila said relieved as she opened the door
yeonjun saw soobin and laila in a tiny cramped closet and stood frozen for a second not knowing what to think
he just stared until laila pulled him in making the already limited space even more cramped
"how did you even know we were in here??" soobin asked a little annoyed
"i don't know, i heard rustling" yeonjun said looking down, feeling a little less confident since the last time he talked to soobin
yeonjun just saw his "girlfriend" in a small closet with her ex
it made sense he wasn't as confident as before
is she gonna go back to her ex?? why did she grab his hand and run off instead of mine? why did they pick such a small room to hide in...did they want to be closer to each other...if i hadn't come at that moment...would something have happened??? yeonjun was in his head panicking, thinking he might lose laila to soobin

hajra was with jay as he was sobering up bit by bit and she was telling him all the things he did while drunk
"no wayyy, i didn't scream like a little girl and jump into your arms" he said
"i mean it wouldn't be the first time, remember the dress sho-" she was cut off with jays finger to her mouth
"sshhh...we don't speak of that" he said not wanting to remember
"okok i won't talk about that...but everything else you did drunk??" she said
"i literally don't believe you" he said
"i'm sure people took videos if you need proof" hajra said
"nono it's okay, i'd rather not see" he said shaking his hands
"ok well promise me one thing, either drink moderately, or wait til your 21" hajra said
"i think i'll wait, there's probably a reason the legal drinking age is 21" he said
"yeah cause there's people like you who can't control themselves" hajra playfully pushed him

yeonjun, soobin, and laila stayed in the janitors closet
everyone was quiet now
laila tried not making eye contact with yeonjun
instead she kept accidentally meeting eyes with soobin
yeonjun noticed this and was offended
it was one thing to flirt and talk with soobin when he's not there
but to be doing it right infront of him?
"oh i'm sorry was i interrupting something?" yeonjun suddenly said
"would you keep it down?" soobin told him
"yeonjun what's your problem?" laila said
"no because it seems like something was going on before i came in here" he said
"seriously be quiet you're gonna get us caught" soobin shushed him
"for real yeonjun...just chill" laila said
"mee??? chill??? i AM chill, you wanna know what's not chill??? you soobin! you're not chill!" yeonjun said pointing his finger into soobins chest
"bro what? are you okay?" soobin asked slapping yeonjuns hand away
"i-im sorry he's probably still drunk" laila tried excusing his behavior
"no actually! i'm not drunk AT ALL and i mean everything when i say that YOU soobin are not cool, actually you're a sneaky little b*tch!" yeonjun said getting all up in soobins face
"YEONJUN!?" laila was surprised
"hey man what's your problem?!?" soobin said pushing yeonjun away
"what? you think i didn't notice you trying to swoop in on laila? well guess what? she dumped youuu she left youuuu, NOT the other way around, so leave her alone, she's over youuuuu, in fact, i wouldn't be surprised if she never even liked you in the first pla-"
"YEONJUN!!!" laila suddenly shouted causing him to stop and look at her in shock
"STOP ACTING LIKE WERE TOGETHER!! IVE TOLD YOU COUNTLESS TIMES ITS NOT HAPPENING!!" laila shouted
soobin heard footsteps coming but laila continued to shout
"FOR YOU TO SAY ALL THIS TO SOOBIN IS SO INAPPROPRIATE! LIKE YOU DONT EVEN KNOW HIM AND-"
she was cut off with soobins hand to her mouth catching her off guard
he held his other finger to his mouth to tell her to be quiet
as everyone got quiet they heard the footsteps getting closer
yeonjun couldn't care less about the approaching footsteps, instead he was too focused on soobin holding his hand to laila, and her not doing anything about it
if yeonjun had done that she would've pushed him off and made a big fuss...but since it's soobin, she has no problem with it at all
yeonjun stared in defeat
he knew they had history...but it seemed like the feelings weren't left in the past
they heard the security talk on his walky talky
"alright we checked the building like 3 times, it's obvious they left somehow. let's just leave and let them get in trouble when they come to school on monday" the security said then left the building along with the 5 other securities
laila and soobin looked at each other with wide eyes
yeonjun was left to celebrate by himself, though he wasn't doing much of that

"oh i should tell you something" jake said
"what is it??" afeefa asked
"i might get into college with a football scholarship" he said
"what? that's great news!" afeefa exclaimed feeling proud of jake
"do you know which one?" she asked
"well no, i still have a year left of highschool, i'll probably find out then." he said
"oh, what if i apply to that same college" she suggested
"oh please do! let's go to the same college together" he said excited
they sat down and excitedly started making plans on the future and what colleges they would go to and classes they would take

"okay i guess it's safe for us to go now..." soobin said taking his hand off of laila to expose her blushing face
seeing this yeonjun knew...
he knew it was no use for him to chase her anymore
she was still into soobin despite dumping him
soobin carefully opened the janitor closet door and peered out looking both ways
he motioned for them to come out
"alright should we tell everyone else now?" laila asked
"uh yeah can you text them?" soobin said
"uh yeah lemme just...ugh my phones dead" laila said
"well mines in my car...i kinda thought i would be in and out of this place haha" soobin nervously laughed
laila turned to yeonjun to ask him if he could text everyone but she saw him already walking down the hall and around the corner
"um, i guess we should split up and look for them" laila suggested
"uh yeah" soobin said as he headed off
laila walked off
she headed the same way as yeonjun
