hajra was sat in class bummed out waiting for her friends to arrive
afeefa and jake came in first and sat
hajra couldn't stand to see a happy couple at the moment
but there was nothing she could do about it...she ruined her own relationship
it wasn't afeefas, jays, or anyone else's fault
"hey hajra...you still sad about jay?" afeefa asked
"obviously..." hajra mumbled
"wait what happened?" jake asked confused
"her and jay broke up" afeefa said
"uhhh since when???" jake asked even more confused
"since yesterday" hajra answered
"that's weird...we would've known by now" jake said
"whos we?" afeefa said
"the whole football team, he tells everything to us, if he's thinking someone we would be the first to know" jake said
"ya but it wasn't something any of us thought from before...it kinda just happened" hajra said
"still...we would've known about it, trust me if you guys broke up he would've told us right away...you sure it's not some sort of misunderstanding?" jake asked
"i mean we never said we were splitting...he kinda just ran off after i blew up at him" she said
"hajra just talk to him...cause it seems your relationship was perfect, it just lacked communication" jake said
"um wow relationship expert" afeefa said
"who meee? nooo" jake said playfully rolling his eyes and waving his hand
hajra deeply sighed and and put her head down
how would she talk to jay
she was too embarrassed
how could she blow up in his face like that and then go talk to him
she just couldn't
she would have no shame if she did
laila walked in class kind of out of it and in her head
she mindlessly sat down beside hajra
"hellooooo???" afeefa said snapping her fingers in laila's face to wake her up from her zombie like state
laila shook her head and was brought back to reality
"huh? what?"
"are you even alive? what's wrong with you" afeefa said
"i was just...thinking" laila said
"thinking about what" hajra said curious and bringing her head up from her desk
"...yeonjun" she hesitantly said still thinking about him and what just happened, or what was about to happen
"ugh" hajra said as she slammed her head back down to her desk
"oh sorry, i forgot about you and jay..." laila said feeling sorry for her
"ya ya whatever" hajra said waving her off while her head was still laid
"what about yeonjun anyways?" afeefa asked
"um...we almost kissed..." she hesitantly said replaying the memory in her head
"YOU WHAT" jake yelled whipping around in his seat to face laila
"YA LIKE TWICE" she yelled back
"OMG OMG" afeefa said
"well aren't you guys together??? what's taking so long" jake asked confused
"ya are you guys taking it slow or something?? afeefa said
"what? no we're not even together" laila said
this made hajra lift her head and look at laila confused
laila looked at hajra and saw her confused face then looked back at jake and afeefa who had the same confused face
"what..?" laila asked
"you're not together?" jake asked
"he literally asked you to homecoming" hajra said
"ya he sang you a song..." afeefa said
"that sounds pretty boyfriendy to me" jake said
"plus you're all he talked about during practice that day" he added
"he did...?" laila asked
"yes all day, it was kind of annoying" jake said
"omg see how are you two not together" afeefa said
"guys guys i said yes to homecoming not to becoming his girlfriend" laila said raising her hands motioning for them to stop
"mmmk thats none of my business then" jake said sassily as he turned around

sana, laila, beomgyu, and yeonjun were now in music class
sana and beomgyu were inseparable...except when they had separate classes
but besides that they were always holding hands
one may wonder how they didnt't get hand cramps or something
"wooh it's cold in here" sana said expecting beomgyu to give up his jacket like he did once before
"really? i'm not cold" beomgyu said acting oblivious to sanas hints
"that's cause you have a jacket" she said side eyeing him
"i should keep it on thennnn" he said playfully shaking his head infront of her face
"you're horrible" sana smiled
"alright alright here" he said taking off one sleeve
they each had one arm in one sleeve
it was extremely uncomfortable
and his jacket was stretching out
but they sat and giggled together
yeonjun stared at across the room
he sighed and looked at laila who was focused on the paper infront of her
"you see them laila?? beomgyu asked sana out and now they're together, whys it different with us huh?" he said rolling his eyes
"that's cause they liked each other from before" she said still writing
"was that not the case with us?" he said crossing his arms
laila stopped writing
she knew that was right
but she wasn't ready to admit she fell for someone like him
but he changed...
he wasn't like how he was when he was with sana
and laila saw that
so why was she so hesitant
maybe because she was worried to get attached
she was worried she might have to move
that's what happened with her last boyfriend
she got attached...and she left
it would be easier to not fall for yeonjun
but it was too late for that
"well???" yeonjun said to laila who was spaced out for a second
"no" laila said
"so you're saying you didn't like me before i asked you out??" he said not fully believing it
"yes, that's what i'm saying" she said unbothered
"well, what about now...d-do you like me now" yeonjun asked hesitantly not wanting to know the answer
laila paused for a moment
"no" she said not even looking at him
it's for the best...don't get attached, and don't get him attached she thought
"bullshit..." he muttered and slumped in his seat
he looked back at sana and beomgyu who were giggling still and comparing hand sizes
he felt jealous
not of sana or beomgyu, but of the relationship that they had
"ok well, we still gotta go to homecoming together cause i didn't embarrass myself infront of everyone to ask you out for nothing" he said
"ok" she said unbothered
"and i already ordered a limo for all of us to go in" he said
"YOU WHAT" laila yelled
sana and beomgyu, along with the whole class and teacher, turned to laila
"HE ORDERED A LIMO" laila stood on her knees in her chair and told sana and beomgyu who were across the room
"WHAT!?!?" beomgyu and sana both exclaimed
"ALRIGHT SETTLE DOWN GUYS" the teacher yelled to quiet them down
laila came down with her hand to her mouth
"a limo!?" she whispered to yeonjun
"you seem interested now" he rolled his eyes
"in the limo not you" she playfully pushed him
"hah whatever" he chuckled to himself
