"Get in the van and your boyfriend lives,"

"Do you have any clue where we are?"

"Some sort of maze, I guess,"

'Hello Agents. You're probably wondering where the hell you are and what the fuck is going on. I'm not going to tell you, I'm not an idiot. What i will tell you though, is that you're going to die in a week if you don't find the exit of the maze. Be prepared to face monsters of all kinds. I've left you some weapons and essential things to survive. Have fun!

"What the hell are we going to do?" Kensi whispered, reading the note over and over. She felt a sense of despair wash over her, already realising that they're as good as dead.

"We're going to survive this Kens, we always do," Deeks assured her, wrapping his arms around her and protectively holding her close. In that moment, he swore to himself that she would get out of here alive, even if he didn't.

"What did he mean by monsters?" she asked, although it was more of a rhetorical question.

"We'll just have to wait and see," His arms tightened around her, "But Kensi, we've taken down terrorists, battled Gurkas and caught serial killers; there's nothing we can't do!"

"Especially when we're together," Kensi agreed, stepping back, "He says in the note that he's given us some weapons and stuff, let's see what he meant,"

"I swear I saw a couple of bags back there," Deeks said, grabbing her hand and jogging back around the corner. Two bags had appeared next to the place they arrived from, one was pink and one was blue.

"I'm guessing the pink one is yours," Deeks said, rolling his eyes, "Although we both know I like pink more than you,"

"And I love blue far more than you!" Kensi agreed, annoyed at the stereotypically gendered bags.

"Whatever, we can switch," Deeks said, smirking. Then he sat down and tipped everything out onto the floor in front of him. Kensi did the same, although she made sure their stuff didn't mix.

They both had a knife, which they immediately sheaved and tucked into their trousers. Two guns were also there, along with plenty of ammo.

"Kens, put all the food over here so we can ration it," Deeks suggested, starting to seperate all his food and putting it with Kensis. They had a water bottle each, which was full but would run out quickly.

"Uh Kens, I'm presuming these are for you," He chucked her a box of tampons, hitting her in the face with them and making her laugh.

"Thanks," She said sarcastically, rolling her eyes.

"And this," He said, waving the hairbrush in her face. She snatched it from him before chucking it back.

"I think it's for you actually," She laughed, poking her tounge out at him.

When they were finished sorting everything out, Deeks took the pink backpack and Kensi the blue. They both had watches, knives and guns. After having a small snack and a quick sip of water, they both felt much more confident and ready to go.

"Kensi, can you promise me something?" Deeks asked, standing up.

"Anything,"

"Don't let go of my hand, it'll be far to easy to lose each other in this place," He asked, putting his hand out for her to take.

"Of course," She replied, taking his hand and intertwining their fingers.

 ———-

"This way looks good," Kensi said, dragging Deeks around another corner. They'd been walking for a good half an hour but had no clue what they were doing.

CRUNCH

"What was that?" Deeks whispered, his hand automitcally going to his gun. Kensi did the same.

CRUNCH

They both drew their weapons and stood back to back, scanning their surroundings for the source of the noise.

CRUNCH

A small shadow darted past them, too quick for either of them to react.

CRUNCH

A small spider like creature jumped out of the hedges and launched itself at Kensi but she shot it dead.

"Densi One, Monsters Nill," Deeks muttered, walking towards the dead monster.

"Densi?" Kensi asked, crouching next to it and turning it over.

"Yeah, Kensi plus Deeks equals Densi, Nell made it up," He explained.

"Deeks,"

"Yeah?"

"Look at this," She said, pointing to a word that was marked on the bottom of the monster.

"Jundallah," Deeks read out, "What does that mean?"

"No idea," Kensi sighed, pulling out her knife and cutting the monster open. They were greeted by a face full of smoke which left them both in horendous coughing fits.

When the smoke had dissapeard and they'd both recovered, the monster was gone.

"That thing better not still be alive," Deeks said.

"It's not alive, it's a robot Deeks, all the monsters are robots," Kensi pointed out, taking his hand and starting to lead him through the maze.

Before either of them could react, a loud growling sound errupted behind them and something had its arm around Kensi's neck, a gun pointed at her head. Deeks pointed his gun at the man, staring at Kensi in horror.

"Move and I'll empty her guts all over the pavement," He growled.

"Take the shot," Kensi told him. They both remembered why this felt so familiar; because this exact situation had happened before.

"Drop it!" Deeks yelled

"Take the shot" Kensi repeated, staring at him in disbeleif. Surely he wouldn't do what he did last time... right?

"Come on, let's go!" Another man yelled, running past.

"Send it!" Kensi yelled. The man let her go and ran off, around the corner and out of sight.

"You okay?" Deeks asked. Kensi just ignored him, picking up her bag from where it had fallen to the ground," I didn't have a shot!"

"Hey," He said, "Listen, I didn't have a shot!"

Kensi walked up to him and punched him, in the arm this time. Then she turned her back and walked off.

"I didn't have a shot!"

A/N: Sorry it's crappy and sorry it took me so long. Also thanks to @FourTris_28 for getting me to actually write this. It's getting exciting now and I found all my planning so there should be a new chapter soon, but I'm not promising anything cos we all know how bad I am with promises.
