Deeks POV
After Kensi ended the call, I rushed into our bedroom to get ready. I had no clue what was going on, but if Kensi told me to dress fancy then it was going to be good. I was really excited as I jumped into the shower and started washing my golden locks. Once I was dry I looked in the closet, wondering what I should wear.
Eventually I decided to go simple: Black jeans, a white shirt, a plain black tie and a black suit jacket. Matched with a pair of simple black shoes, I looked amazing.
A few minutes after I was ready a car horn beeped loudly, signalling that Eric was outside and waiting. I grabbed my Keys and Gun before jogging out of the house.
"Hey Deeks, you look Good!" Eric commented, smiling at me. I wasn't very close with Eric to be honest, a fact that I regret.
"Thanks," I replied, putting my seat belt on as he sped off.
"So, how was your day?" He asked me, concentrating on the road.
"It was okay, me and Monty hung out at the park for a bit," I told him, "Where are we going?"
"I'd love to tell you but I'm not risking bodily harm from your girlfriend!" Eric exclaimed, making me laugh. I knew first hand what Kensi would do if you broke a promise. It wasn't pleasant to say the least.
"Alright man, can you at least give me a clue?"
"You're going to love it, that's all I'm saying,"
"Fine. Wait, isn't this the way to the beach?!" I turned my head and saw a glimpse of ocean. "Eric, why are we heading to the beach?"
"You'll see soon enough,"

We pulled up right beside the beach and I hopped out.
"Thank you Eric, also, if you want to hang out some time just call okay?"
"Your welcome Deeks, maybe we could go surfing sometime?" Eric suggested. I forgot that he surfed.
"Yeah sure man! Sounds great!" I said. He drove off into the night.
Once he was out of sight I looked around, trying to spot Kensi. My heart melted when I saw her sitting on the sand, staring out at the ocean. Next to her was a cute little table, filled with food, very romantic looking. Surrounding the table was loads of small tea lights. It was incredible.
But not as incredible as Kensi. As I walked over I realised she was wearing her dark blue dress, my Favourite outfit of hers. He hair was curly and down. She looked stunning.
"Hey Princess," I said, sitting down next to her on the golden sand. My arm instantly wrapped around her waist and her head came to lie on my shoulder.
"Hey Deeks," She whispered, keeping her gaze on the waves that are crashing onto the shore.
"So, I'm guessing you weren't really out with Nell?" I questioned, watching as a small smile appeared on her face.
"I was with Nell, but no, we didn't go out anywhere like I said," She explained,
"Did you do all this yourself?" I asked, staring around at the eating area.
"God no. Callen did all this and Michelle cooked the food," She told me, a grin spreading across her face. Our team really is like a family. We help each other out and always have each others backs. I wouldn't trade it for anything.
Kensi slowly stood up and held her hand out to me. I grabbed it and got up, keeping hold of her hand as she led me to the table. We sat down and started eating the amazing food.
"Kensi, this is incredible!" I told her, twirling more spaghetti around my fork. Michelle really knows how to cook!
"The date or the food?" She asked, staring down at her almost empty plate of spaghetti.
"Both," I answered, with a mouth full of spaghetti, "But especially the date!"

When we were completely finished with dinner, it was almost midnight and completely dark around us. Together we quickly packed up everything by candlelight and took the remaining lit candles to the top of the beach. Kensi put them on the sand so that we could see each other.
I laid down on the sand, Kensi following me. Our hands were intertwined and we just laid there and watched the stars.
It was pretty much perfect.
Just like her.
