Deeks POV
I used to hate mornings, they were always the worst part of the day for me. But when I met Kensi, that completely changed. Now mornings are great, simply because I get to spend them with Kensalina, my princess.
I lazily opened my eyes, staring down at the beautiful girl in my arms. She was already awake, her fingers drawing random patterns onto my bare skin.
Gently, I leaned down and pressed a small kiss to the top of her head. Her beautiful brown eyes darted up to meet mine.
"Hey Deeks," She mumbled, sleepiness evident in her voice.
"Hey Kens," I replied, a small smile overtaking my features. This girl that I have in my arms is absolutely gorgeous, smart and deadly.
Perfect Basically.
"Last night was incredible! " She exclaimed, a small giggle escaping my lips.
"You can say that again!" I reply while rolling back to my side of the bed, turning to look at Kensi.
"You're so beautiful in the morning," I tell her, grinning when a small blush appears on her checks.
"Thanks," She mutters, slowly rolling over so that her heads resting on my chest again.
"What are we doing today?" I ask, my fingers automatically getting tangled in her hair.
"Can we go down to the beach? It's been a while," She requests, my face instantly lighting up.
"Yesssss!!!! Come on, let's go!" I rambled excitedly, climbing out of bed and running into the kitchen. I hadn't been to the beach in forever!!
An hour later we were sitting on the shimmering sand, Kensi laying between my legs, leaning back onto my stomach. My arms were wrapped around her and we were talking about everything and nothing.
"I'm just saying Deeks, Nell and Eric are perfect together!" Kensi argued.
"Yes, and I agree with that, but I'm still not talking to Beale about it!" I told her.
"Fine," She replied grumpily, finally giving up.
"Kens, I'm going to go and surf okay? I'll be back in a bit," I told her, smiling as she rolled off me and passed my wax to me. Thanking her, I got my surfboard and started running down to the ocean.
I finally felt free
Kensi's POV
I watched as Deeks ran towards the ocean, dressed in his wetsuit, his board in his right hand. He looked so happy, so free. The ocean was his special place, the place he went to calm his mind. The place that had been there for him since he was young.
We had gone to the beach together many times. As much as I complained about it, I loved watching him surf. He was truely amazing at it, so much so that I was surprised that he hadn't gone profesional with it. He was incredible to watch and I was honoured that I was allowed to.
My mind wondered to the last couple of months. It had been interesting, to say the least. From the day I found out he loved me, to me finally realising that I could say it back had been compliacted. Granger sending him on a classified mission had sucked, but I had him back now. And he wasn't going anywhere. No way.
We hadn't been together, officially, for long. It had only been a month or so, and we've only been on one date. He'd taken me to the funniest, yet most perfect cafe in the world, and I decided it was time to repay the favour.
I was going to take Deeks on the perfect date.
But where to? Neither of us where into fancy expensive restraunts, but I also didn't want to take him somewhere to casual.
I thought back to something Nell had told me, months ago. Time is worth more than money. It was said in passing, a meaningless sentence at the time, but it had planted an amazing idea in my mind.
Now I just had to put it into action.
Quickly, I sent Callen, Sam, Nell and Eric a short text, requesting their help. Tonight was going to be perfect.
Deek's had saved me. He didn't know it, but he had. I used to be depressed, seeing the world how it really is isn't easy, and I resulted to self harm. But Deek's saved me from that, without even knowing, and although I'd never be able to truely thank him for that, I could try.
"Hey Sexy!" A tall man sat down next to me, to close for my liking.
"Go away," I told him, giving him my best death glare.
"Nice Tits," He remarks, moving his hand to rest on my thigh.
"Fuck off," I say, standing up. He pulls me back down and I land half on top of him.
"Hey there, wanna take it back to my place?" He asks, moving his hand to rest on my butt. I'm just about to beat the daylight's out of him when I hear a familiar voice behind me.
"Get the hell away from my girlfriend you creep!" Deek's shouts, startling the creep below me. I knee him in the nuts and roll off him. Deek's offers me his hand and I take it, standing next to him.
"She's your girlfriend man? Well, want to lend her to me for the day? I pay well," He asks. Anger is litterally rolling off of Deeks. He squeezes my hand before letting go, grabbing his LAPD badge.
"I'm LAPD, so if you don't get away from me and Kensi in the next three seconds, I'll either arrest you or let her shoot your balls off!" Deeks threatens, making me smile slightly. I loved how overprotective he got, even if I said otherwise.
"Yeah, like a sexy slut like her could do that!" He said, eyeing my breasts creepily. I pulled out my gun and pointed it at him, an eyebrow raised.
"If you're not gone in three seconds you won't be able to have children," I threatend. His eyes went wide in fear as he ran off, not looking back for even a second.
I grinned at Deeks, who was looking at me in concern.
"Some people eh?" I remarked, sitting down on the sand again.
"Tell me about it!" He replied, taking his wetsuit off and getting dry. "Are you okay though?"
"Yeah I'm fine, althought I'm a little bit dissapointed I couldn't shoot him," I answer, smirking at my boyfriend.
"Yeah, me to Princess, me to"
A/N: So I don't know if anyone's still reading this, but I felt awful about leaving this story how I did, so I deleted the rather shitty ending and have decided to carry on. Now, you all know how terrible I am with promises, so don't hate me if I don't update to regularly. Also, comment's really help motivate me, and unlike most people, I don't care if you just comment 'Update' so yeah. Please vote and comment. See YA!
