Deeks POV

Walking through the door, we laughed at the memories of the day. It sure had been interesting. Kensi slumped tierdly down on the couch while I went and retirived the remaning beers from the fridge. We really did have a problem with achohol. Passing one too her, I joined her on the couch, sighing happily after I took a long slurp of my beer. Smiling, she turned too face me and I mirrored her actions.

"So, what were you telling the guys this morning?" She questioned, tucking her feet beneth her. Her question caught me by surprise, I didn't even think for a moment she knew that I was lying.

"Um, well, I just needed to, ask them, what they thought about Monty joining our team," I made up unconvincingly. Sighing, I knew she wouldn't buy it.

"Really Deeks, Thatt's the best you can come up with? What is it with you and attempting to lie to me? You know that it never works," She points out and she does have a good point. I may be an experienced undercover cop, but my training never taught me how to lie to someone like Kensi.

"Kens, come on," I muttered softly, praying that she would drop it.

"Deeks, just tell me, I'm your best friend, I thought you said we could tell each other anything," She told me. I felt really guilty when she said that, becasue I always told her that she could tell me anything, and now here is was, not telling her something. Hypocrite.

"You are my best friend Kens, and we can tell each other anything, anything but this," I reply, muttering the last part, hoping she wouldn't hear me. Seems my lucks running out though.

"Anything but what Deeks? Cos now there's two things that we don't talk about. Want to add to that list?" She demands, her voice raising just a tiny bit, but enough to let me know that she's pissed. Very pissed.

"Kensi, there's only one thing on that list that we don't talk about, only one ok?" I whispered, hoping that she would get the message.

"Deeks, why would you talk about, that, with Callen and Sam?" She whispers back softly.

"Kens, can we just watch some bad TV now?" I plead, pulling out the puppy dog eyes, the one thing no girl could ever resist.

"Fine Deeks, but your not off the hook," She warns before turning away from me and back at the TV.

When we got to some adverts Kensi's phone started ringing so she went into the kitchen. Curiously, I walked too the door, wondering who she was talking too.

"I know, guys are useless, Why can't he just admit it already. I mean, Seriously!" I heard her complain.

"Yeah, well, I doubt Eric's as bad as Deeks!" I was slighlty taken a back at that. They were talking abou me?!

"Well Deeks seems to be able to admit it too the guys but not to me! What's the point in that?"

"Lol, no, he was defiently talking about me," She replied, starting to laugh

"Yeah, Sam and Deeks would make such a cute couple," I snorted when I heared that.

"I tried asking him already, he refuses to tell me," I started to panic. Had Kensi heard what I'd asked the guys earlier? She better not have. she remained silent for a few minuites,

"Well my friend, you are a genius. Good plan, although I don't know if I will be able to stick to it, I just want him to freakin admit it for Gods sake!" She exclaimed. I walked backwards and banged into something, making a loud noise, alerting Kensi that I was nearby.

"Got to go Nell, I'll call you later, see ya!" She hung up hurridly and walked out of the room. I hurried back to the couch and looked up at her as she entered.

"Soory 'bout that, Nell needed to tell me something," She told me before turning the TV back on, "I called up the Pizza delivery as well, they'll be here in twenty minutes," Nodding, I made room for her.

"So, What were you talking about with Nell?" I asked, seriously curious, but highly doubtful that she would acctually tell me.

"Come on, let's go to bed, it's been a long day," She said, changing the subject, but I went along with it. For now. We walked into the bedroom, shocked. She was seriously pissed at me but she still wanted to sleep with me. God, I love her. I gave her some privacy this time while she was getting changed. When I walked back into the bedroom, she gave me a strange look.

"What?" I asked defensivly

"You feeling OK?" She asked, confused look on her face

"Yeah, why?" I asked, just as confused as she looked

"You always watch me when I get changed, like, every night! It's extremly disturbing mind you, but you didn't tonight. Therefore you must be ill," She explained, making me laugh. It was true, I did end up watching her get changed every night. I know, I know, I'm a pig. I don't like disrespecting her like that, but I can't seem to help it.

"I know, but I've already  been a complete idiot today as it is, plus I should really stop doing that,"

"Yeah, you really should," she said before getting under the covers. I copied her but when I was under I started debating whether it was safe if I hugged her tonight. After a few minuites I decided I wouldn't risk bodily harm and wouldn't hug her. But then Kensi surprised me yet again. Slowly, she turned round to look at me, our heads basically sharing a pillow, so close that I was using all my will power not to kiss her.

"Your not a complete idiot Deeks," She whispers, before pulling my arms and wrapping them around her. I get the hint and pull her right next to me, so that our bodies are touching, and hug her properly. After I drop a kiss to the top of her hair, I decide to brave one last question,

"Kens, what were you talking to Nell about?" I whisper, know that I was being a hypocrite just by asking, but I couldn't help it. The suspence was bugging me.

"Same thing you were talking to Callen and Sam about," She mumbles, burying her head into my shoulder, "Night Deeks,"
