Deeks POV
I wake up in the same position I fell asleep in; her head on my chest, my arm's wrapped around her waist. I just lay there, watching her sleep, finally at peace. She's absolutely georgeous and I can't belive that I can finally call her mine. After a few perfect minutes, she wakes up, slowly opening her eyes. When they finally settle on me, a grin breaks out on her face. I lean down to kiss her, basking in the perfectness of this moment.
"Morning Princess," I whisper, smiling at my georgeous girlfriend.
"Morning Deeks," She replies, the grin never leaving her face. I peck her nose, making her giggle slightly. I love her giggle.
"I hate to say this, but we only have twenty minutes before work starts. We have to wake up," I say, yawning. I want to stay in bed with her, but I know that's not a possiblitly.
"Do we have to?" She moans, pouting. The expression on her face warms my heart, she's so cute, but I know that I can't give in. We have to get to work.
"Yeah, Hetty will probably fire me if I'm late again," I tell her. Kensi nodds reluctantly and rolls off of me, allowing me to get out of bed. I sleepily head to her kitchen, knowing that I'll find coffee and doughnuts there. I hear the shower start, making me grin at the thought's the flash through my mind. I focus on breakfast, knowing that I can't go and join her, even if I really want to.
When breakfast's done, I go and get changed into suitable work clothes. And by that I mean Jeans and a Tee Shirt, sue me. Kensi walks out of the bathroom, fully dressed much to my dissapointment, but looking beautiful as always.
"Kens, there's doughnuts and coffee waiting for you in the kitchen," I tell her, bursting into laughter when she runs into the kitchen like her life depends on it. I follow her slowly, smiling at the sight infront of me. Kensi, the most georgeous girl ever, is stuffing her face with doughnuts like some sort f animal. She has sugar all around her mouth and it's by far the cutest thing I've ever seen.
"These are so good Deeks!" She exclaims, her mouth half full of doughnuts. I laugh at her, snatching the last one, making her glare at me. I eat it in three bites, not bothering to savour the taste.
"Mm, you're right, these are good!" I say, leaning over to wipe the sugar from her face. She smiles sheepishly at me, before getting up to finish getting ready. I do the same, pulling my jacket on and doing up my shoelace. We're out the door before we know it, hopping into her car. We drive in silence, half way there before Kensi finally say's whats on both of our minds.
"Are we going to tell the guys? I mean, I want to but its your lifes that at stake," She asks. I sigh, knowing that we have to tell them, even if I might not live to see tommorow.
"You're right, lets tell them. Whats the worst that can happen?" I ask, not knowing that I was about to find out.
As we walked up into OP's, I lean over so that my mouth is right next to her ear.
"It's going to be OK Kens, It'll be OK."
"Guys, can we talk to you?" Kensi asks confidently. Callen and Sam turn around, nodding at us. As she begins to open her mouth, Nell, Eric, Hetty, Granger and Nate all walk through the door. It's pretty perfect because now we can tell everyone at once. It must be fate.
"Okay, What is it Miss. Blye?" Granger barked,
"Well, Deeks and I are dating," She say's with a huge smile on her face. Everyone's previous smile's drop off their face's and turn into frowns.
"Congratulations guys," Eric and Nell said simultaneously, huge grin's on both of their faces.
"No," Callen says firmly, "No your not,"
"What?" We ask, confused
"You two are NOT dating," Sam barks, "Whatever happend, forget it, You're not dating!" A wave of anger washes through me as I see tears start pooling in Kensi's eyes.
"But," She objects, before being cut off again.
"No buts Miss. Blye, you and Mr. Deeks are not dating? Got it!" Hetty said. This final stoke of betrayal was the last stroke. The tear's pooling in her eyes started falling, and she ran out of OP's. Furious, I turn back to our team.
"Thanks guys, thanks a lot," I say, before running after her.
I immediantly head for the beach, knowing that it's the only place she'll be right now. I spot her sitting on the golden sand, arm's wrapped around her kness, tear's pouring down her cheeks. I sit down next to her, wrapping my arm's around her and pulling her onto my lap. She hugs me back, crying into my jacket. I sit there for a while, dropping kisses to her head and whispering that it's going to be OK.
When the tear's die down, I drop a quick kiss to her lips before deciding we need to talk.
"Nothing's going to change between us, OK? I love you Kensi Blye, and nothing those idiot's say will change my mind. We can date behind their back, it'll be harder, but it'll be worth it. I love you," I tell her.
"I love you too Deeks and that's not going to change. We're undercover professionals, they won't find out. Let's go back to OP's, tell them that they're right, and then, well, if we suddenly decide not to talk to them anymore, it's our choice right?" She says, a grin forming on her face. God I love her.
"Love you Fern," I say, making her glare at me. I just laugh, "Come on. Lets get back to OPs," After brushing the sand off of us, we make our way back to OP's in silence. It's only a short walk, but it feels like forever. When we finally arrive back, we make our way up to OP's, glaring at the team. I never thought I'd say this about my family, but I hate them.
"You know what Guys, You win! You broke me and Kensi up, you fucking happy now?" I yell, furious at them. Even though they didn't break us up, they tried to and they made Kensi cry in the process. I hate them.
"Good, I'm glad you came to your sences. We have a case, Eric and Nell will breif you," Callen said before walking out of OP's. Everyone has left, minus Eric and Nell, so we look over at them, ready to get this day over with.
"Before we breif you, we wanted to tell you something," Nell said, walking closer to us, Eric right behind her.
"OK, Shoot," I say, watching them curiously. They exchanged a nervous look before turning back to us.
"Eric and I have been dating for the past Six Monhs. We told Hetty and she had the same reaction that you got," Nell informed us. I grinned at them, hugging them both. Kensi did the same.
"Congratualtions Guys!" Kensi said, smiling at them. I was surprised that Nell hadn't told Kensi earlier, since Nell's her best friend, secound to me.
"Yeah, Congrats guys!" I said, "You probably guessed that we're still dating,"
"Yeah, I figured," Nell replied, smiling at us.
"We also wanted to tell you that we're here to help if you ever need anything," Eric told us quietly, standing close to Nell. The guy was always extremely nervous and shy, but I admired the way he alway's tried to be braver for Nell. I'd noticed it a lot recently, but it all made sense now.
"You too guys," Kensi replied, "So, can you debreif us?"
When we finally arrived at the remote crime scene, we met up with Callen and Sam. They sent us to talk to the dead guy's wife. We walked away before they could finish talking, just to piss them off. We spent the entire day ignoring them, which was surprisingly easy. I found that everything they did annoyed me, even if it was their silence. When it was time to go home, we didn't have to be told twice. We litterally raced out of their, not caring what anyone thought, just wanting to be alone.
When we got home, I made more Doughnuts for Kensi and we ate them while watching Titanic. Halfway through the movie Kensi fell asleep, so I carried her into bed and soon fell asleep next to her, dreading the day to come.
