Arriving at Liverpool at midnight was not the ideal night

Arriving at Liverpool at midnight was not the ideal night. Jacob decided to be an annoying creature throughout the entire ride. He said it was a way to make up for lost time but I think he was just incredibly tired and bored of driving. I'm starting to see sparks of the old him poking through the facade he hasn't yet dropped and I'm glad that he's able to go back to who he was.

Me and Jacob had our own room in the hotel that Charlie had booked for us and Laura also had her own. Some of Charlie's other friends were also here and they had their own rooms.

We all decided to have a good nights sleep before the wedding tomorrow. We all had planned to go out for drinks after the wedding and then clubbing the next.

Jacob wiped the makeup off of my face as I was too tired to do it myself and then he fell asleep with his arm around my waist and his head resting next to mine.

The shrilling of the alarm woke me up the next day. I jolted awake, causing Jacob's arm to slide off of me. He stirred in his sleep, mumbling incoherent things under his breathe. I looked over to him and smiled at the small frown that was on his face. I dragged my thumb over the creases in between his eyebrows and pressed a kiss onto the tip of his nose. He hummed in acknowledgement and wrapped his arms around my waist and pulled me on top of him. My body collapses on his and my elbows rested next to his head.

Jacob smiles up at me and I scrunch my nose at the sight of his beautiful face shining up at me. His hands rest on my hips and I feel them slipping under my shirt. Jacob's eyes flicker to the door, where I had hung up my dress last night and he grins wildly. "I can't wait to take that dress off of you." He whispers huskily, sending a shiver through my body.

I laugh quietly before saying, "And I can't wait to see you in your suit."

Jacob groans before squeezing my hips slightly. "I don't know how you convinced me to wear that damn thing."

I smile slyly before snuggling my head onto his chest. "Pussy power." I mumble, lifting my head up.

Jacob laughs, "shut-" He buried his face into my neck before retracting it. "Shut up."

We both burst into laughter for absolutely no reason. And to add to it, Jacob started tickling me, causing me to squirm from his touch. I thrashed against his body, squealing and waving my arms and legs around.

I struggle to get the huge, black, simple, silk dress over my head but I eventually succeed. Jacob walks out of the bathroom in nothing but a towel hanging low on his hips as I reach out for the zip. My fingers graze the zip on the back but not enough to grip it.

"I've got you." Jacob says from directly behind me before I feel his wet fingers pull up the zip. His fingers linger on my skin as he caresses my shoulder. He plants a soft kiss on the crook of my neck and I lean into him, pressing myself against his wet, naked body.

"I've got something for you." He whispers into my skin, perking my attention.

"What?"

"Ssh. Don't turn around." He huskily whispers before I feel his footsteps depart away from me. I hear the zipper to his backpack open and close and then he's behind me again.

"Close your eyes." I oblige.

I feel something cold on my chest and when I open my eyes, a beautiful pearl necklace rests on my chest. I quickly turn around and wrap my arms around Jacob's neck. He stumbles forward but hugs me back.

"It's beautiful, I love it." I mumble into his chest. "Thank you so much."

As I move away, he leans down and plants a kiss on my lips. He doesn't pull away, however, and curls his fingers around my neck. He pulls me closer and grips onto the back of my head. A smile creeps onto my lips as he bites my bottom lip lightly. I rest my hands on the sides of his face, caressing his cheek. Dragging my fingers down his neck and chest, I trace the curves of his abs with the tip of my fingers lingering on his body.

"Is there a way we can miss this wedding?" Jacob mumbles against my lips.

I chuckle quietly, pulling away from him.

"Even if I wanted to, we can't." I plant a quick kiss on his cheek before stepping away from him and reaching for my heels. "And get ready, I don't think Charlie would appreciate you arriving naked at his wedding." Jacob chuckles from behind me and I hear him rustling around.

I slip on my heels and my hands automatically go to my neck.

"Uh... Aria?" When I turn around, my breathe is knocked out of my body. Jacob stood there in black dress slacks and an untucked shirt. The tie he was supposed to wear was around his neck in an unusual knot. I laugh out loud at the sight and saunter towards him.

"You've been alive for twenty one years and you don't know how to tie a tie?" I unknot the mess he had made and straighten the tie.

"My mum always did it for me." He pouts, pulling me closer. His hands rested against my hips.

"Over... around... over... under..." I mumble under my breathe as I fix Jacob's tie. I pull it up to his neck and when I look up to him, his eyes were already boring into mine. "What?"

"You look really beautiful, darling." He murmurs, causing a wide smile to spread across my face.

"So do you." I whisper before kissing his cheek, letting my lips linger for a while. "I love you."

"And I love you." Jacob exclaims, before lifting his black suit jacket off of the bed and slipping it over his shoulders. He entwines his hand into mine and leads us out of the hotel room.

"That was a beautiful ceremony." I say to Laura as we refill our wine glasses. I was only on my second glass so the effect had hardly hit me.

"It was, I'm so happy for him." Laura says as she stares in awe at the bride and groom dancing in the middle of the hall. Just as I'm about to reply, I see Jacob approaching the both of us. He has his hand out and I stare at it in confusion.

"May I have this dance, my great love?" He says huskily into my ear and my eyes widen.

"Of course, kind sir." I reply, waving goodbye to Laura and making my way to the dance floor. Jacob curls his arm around my waist and pulls me closer to him. My hand sat loosely in his and he twirled me around the room. My dress twisted around me, almost causing me to trip. I squeal as Jacob catches me and stands me up.

"This dance thing isn't working, is it?" He laughs, moving my straightened hair out of my face.

"I don't think so." I smile up at him before moving a few curls of his hair away from his face.

"Wanna get outta here?"

Yes.

Yes
