their master plan

I sit on the edge of my freshly made bed. I was furious it had been 6 days since I had gotten back home into my new room. I was not prepared for what my parents told me, they told me that if I wanted to stay with them and I didn't want to die by execution that I would have to be married to one of the three princes.

"Dear...we are sorry but it's part of our plan you see," and with that your mother was wide eyes because she had just said. "What plan?" You Stand up, you looked furious. "Child calm down." Your father said whilst light a cigar. 'oh so that was all fake?!' you could feel tears pricking your eyes like little needles. Your cheeks getting hot to the touch from rage, embarrassment, and betrayal.
"Yes a plan I have put together, you are the key component. You shall marry one of the princes, they shall pick and discuss your suitor, the marriage is like a peace treaty or peace offering. However, you will not have any huge choice in this matter, it is eaither save us or you killed with us." He said taking a very long drag on the cigar. He had special ones made for him, it was made out of herbs by the elves or conjurers, it was able so he would stay calm and not have any side effects.

You stared at them simply dumbfounded at what they had said. "Your giving me away like I'm nothing, pawing me off like a broken thing?!" You yelled grabs some clothes and throwing them in a bag. "Sweetie, wait!" Your mother pleaded and screamed for you as you walked out the door. "I give up on this miserable family!!" You slammed the door after you practically yelled that to their faces. Apparently they tried to run after you but you were a much faster pace for them to match. You had grabbed a map on the way out. You opened it and started looked at your new destination. 'maybe some place with humans, or elves? Maybe that place where everyone goes missing, it would be a surprise and no one would look for a "missing" person!' What ever decision was going to be made you could think of it on the long journey ahead.

You walked for hours, long, tiring, hours. You saw a small cabin ahead. 'Maybe they could help!"
You thought as you ran up the small steps and knocking on the door with newfound hope.

A small little girl opened the door. And you got a feeling that she was in danger, and that was confirmed when a man with a bird mask attached to his face walked up and stood behind her.

Hello you all I just wanted to formally apologize for not posting for a while! The last post was in NOVEMBER!! And I thought I was getting rid of my procrastinating...anyways!
