20. Disappointed more than Angry!

"Oh god Rushi seriously, we were kids for gods sake! You of all people knew exactly what all was going with me during those years.", Advika was frustrated, tired of running, afraid to face, and wounded with the memories of her bad time!

When Vishal's parents came into his hospital room and Rushi was no where to be seen Adnan excused himself knowing that Rushi hasn't returned yet that means he maybe confronted Advika.

Adnan quickly walks upto them and interrupts their heated conversation.

"Guys, I think it's high time! We need to fucking talk!", Adnan said authoratively due to which Rushi and Advika shut their mouths while Rohit intertwined his fingers with Advika's and looked at her as if telling her to calm down and take things slow and thoughtfully.

"There's no need let's go back Adnan", Rushi said avoiding it.

"Please Rushi how long are we gonna keep running away, let's finish this once and for all", Adnan said to Rushi firmly.

Advika's heart twitched at Adnan's words, she could imagine them listening to her and then just getting up and leaving without looking back even once!

Rohit senses her discomfort and fear he let go of her hand and gently placed it on her waist giving her an assuring look that's things would be fine and not to lose hope.

Advika pushed down her fears and spoke, "Let's get out of here first"

All of them left the hospital together in their respective cars.
Adnan suggested to sit together at their house and talk rather than in public place so all four of them were heading there.

On the way Rushi informed Vishal's dad that they would take a little longer to return and he understood that they needed time with Advika maybe.

I was nervous and it was all over my face I knew it and I need not hide it now because I was with Rohit and I wouldn't mind him seeing me vulnerable!

Adnan and Rushi were in their car ahead of us while Rohit was driving me to their place. The ride was awfully silent when he decided to speak.

"Are you sure you wanna do this now? Are you okay?", he asked looking at me for a brief moment and focusing back on the road.

"I have to be okay!", I was determined to let them know everything today. No more secrets.

"Do you want me to stay with you there?", Rohit asked concerned.

"I would like if you did but I think you shouldn't, Rushi Adnan would appreciate it and I need to do this alone"

Rohit hummed in response. I knew he was worried for me. I wasn't used to people caring for me so much. I liked it not to deny but I didn't want him to be worried for me.

His one hand was placed on the steering wheel while I held his other hand in mine.

"Don't worry Rohit, I know them, they would never hurt me, not physically atleast, and I won't let them hurt me mentally."

We reached their place. Rohit pulled into the parking lot behind them as Adnan Rushi got out of the car they waited for me to join them.

Rohit looked at me and said, "I'll wait for you to come back?"

"No don't, it would take long you should go home Rohit please, I'll call you once I go back okay?!"

"Fine", he put his hand behind my head and pulled me closer and gave me a gentle forehead kiss. I could sense what he was feeling, it was getting stonger day by day, but right now I already had a lot on my plate and I needed to clear that up.

I pulled back and gave him my genuine smile and got out of the car. Rushi Adnan surely saw the moment we had in the car and they might have thought Rohit would follow me with them but I knew them better. I knew they would hate an outsider between us.

In the elevator the 3 of them feel the tension building up between them and that they needed to relieve it at the soonest.
Rushi unlocks the door and enters inside.

Adnan looks at Advika and invites her in. She felt that Adnan wasn't as angry at her as he was the other day but Rushi was surely furious at her.

Adnan indicates her to sit and goes to get water for them.
Advika just nods at him with a half-smile on her face.

Rushi sits facing her. Somewhere he felt like hugging her tight like old times and just letting things be in the past and make a fresh start cause even he didn't want to lose her again that she was back now.

Adnan hands her a glass of water and Rushi the whole bottle!!

Adnan sits on the couch with her on the other end.

Advika knew she had to break the silence between them.

Advika says looking at Rushi and Adnan, "how have you been?!"

"Cut the crap come to the main point, who is that kaccha nimbu (unripen lemon : which is a Hindi slang for immature kid) you're hanging out with?"

Advika and Adnan were clearly surprised at this question of Rushi. Out of all the other things she never expected him to ask this first.

Adnan couldn't help but let out a small chuckle at this question of Rushi. Advika glanced at him controlling the laugh building up in her. She didn't want to anger Rushi futher, but she was relieved knowing that he was still the same even for her!
The same protective person that she wished stayed with her always!

Rushi instantly regretted asking this looking at both of their faces.

"He is a close friend, I met him in London and we were roomates for a year", Advika sincerely answered his question.

"Oh so you felt safer with a stanger back then!", Rushi remarked which hurt Advika.

"It's nothing like that Rushi"

"Next question, why the fuck did you leave in the first place?! What did us think of us for!? Do we seem idiots to you? Why couldn't you talk to Us???", Rushi was angry and more than angry he was disturbed and disappointed by her behaviour.

"I told you we were kids and I was wrong in doing so but by the time I realised this, it was late", Advika said looking down and findling with her fingers.

"Late?! Seriously yaar...did we need to tell you separately that you could have come back to us and talked to us anytime you wanted?!"

"After what happened I thought it would be better if I would leave you all alone peacefully and stop bothering you all. I thought it would be better that way if i left your lives.", Advika's words were getting weaker every moment she was thinking about those moments.
