60. Called off

Advika was settling down in London with Rohit. Whiskey was running around in the apartment playing with Kevin as he was getting used to the new place.

Advika and Rohit arranged their bedroom and all of them decided to order dinner instead of going out.

Advika sent the pictures of their bedroom on the WhatsApp group of them four.

They replied with just emojis as it was Rohit and Advika's bedroom and they were least interested in it.

While Advika was wearing off her jet lag in London, the trio of her bestfriends were feeling empty. Just a day she lived with them at their place and they felt so good, so happy and lively. Now that she was gone they purposely tried to get themselves busy in their work.

Vishal had started to shoot for a new project just a few days after Advika left. He felt the need for her to be there with him on the sets, eating and laughing with him, making him happy just by her sheer presence!

Advika was working with her theatre group in London, this time she wasn't acting but she was the one directing the play.

Rohit had got the opportunity to work as an assistant director for a webseries with a huge production company.

All of them were busy in their lives.
Time never stops for anyone, their time was moving faster than ever.

Advika was conscious about her nearing wedding month. She still couldn't accept Rohit to be her husband. Something about it didn't feel right. She tried her level best to accept it, when he took her out on a date and when they kissed for the first time, she didn't feel any butterflies or sparks shooting under her skin, her heart didn't flutter as it did on Vishal's touch.

After 2 months in London, living with Rohit she realised a lot of things. They slept cuddling a lot of times, she didn't feel uncomfortable with Rohit but his touch never even turned her on.

Advika loved Rohit, but she was never in love with him!

When you're in love, you don't need reasons, you don't need to justify it to yourself, you just know it in your heart. Your brain, your heart, each cell in your body knows it and reacts to it!

Vishal's parents on the other hand talked to him about getting married and settling down but he was adamant on his decision. He had decided, he would only settle down with the one with whom he would feel the same connection he did with Advika.

Adnan, Rushi and even his parents knew that he had realised that he loved Advika. He wouldn't say it out loud but he too knew it when he saw her after the incident at the private party.

The four of them were in touch, Advika used to call them often so did they! Vishal barely talked to her on the group video calls they had on weekends. He felt the need to stay a bit away from her because everytime he saw her his heart pained at the thought of her being with Rohit. Advika would sense his hesitation but never could say anything about it.

On a Saturday evening, Rohit and Advika both had a day off, it was just both of them as Kevin had moved out with his girlfriend.
Advika decided to talk to Rohit about her feelings so that they could find a solution on it together. Communication was the key to everything. Both of their parents had already started planning for their weddings and she didn't want that last minute cancellation drama.

"Get the wine na Rohit Please....", Advika told him whining as they were sitting in the balcony.

"Here..", Rohit hands her the glass and they sit together in silence for some time.

"Rohit...I need to talk to you about something", Advika says looking at him, she was nervous about how would he react.

"Yes say na...", He says refilling her glass.
