Mansi, Advika's parents and also Rohit's parents were very happy for their kids. Though they wanted to scream on their top of their lungs and tell everyone that the kids are getting engaged, they had to shut up because Advika insisted on keeping the engagement away from the media attention.

Only close relatives and their parents would be present for the engagement and they would announce their relationship publicly before marriage.

Rohit agreed to it without any arguments so their parents were left with no choice other than to agree. They would be having the engagement at Advika's place itself.

It was just a day to their engagement and already both of their houses were subtly decorated, Mansi's parents were also here for her engagement.

Everyone was excited in their own way for her engagement, even little Whiskey was walking alongside Advika waging his tail as if feeling all the excitement in the house.

The ring ceremony and the prior rituals to that would be taking place on the terrace of Advika's house so it was beautifully decorated with seats for the bride and the groom.

Rohit was already glowing with the happiness of getting engaged to Advika, everyone around her was happy and positive which made her feel better and she pushed away her own negativity for their smiles.

Rohit's parents were really sweet and loved him dearly, they accepted Advika with their whole heart and treated her like their daughter.

Not to deny the fact that Advika actually felt the parental love with them which reminded her of Adnan, Rushi and Vishal's parents. She was very pampered by them all.

Rohit's mom infact even told Advika few days back that she always wanted a daughter and now that she would have one she was going to spoil her with all the pampering.

Advika snapped out of her thoughts when her phone rang, it was Arshi calling. Advika understood that Arshi must have gotten the invitation.

"Dude what the actual fuck !!! You are getting engaged bitch and you are telling this to me now??? I am so gonna kill you for not taking me to shop for your engagement dude! Mansi and I would have too had some fun! Ughh... leave that I will fulfil all my wishes in your wedding baby just wait and watch, infact you know I am gonna take a lot of shagun from Rohit when I would hide his juttis", Arshi was very sweet and the smallest of things made her happy.

She was genuinely very excited and happy for Advika and Rohit as she knew something was brewing between them.

"Girl calm down! I am just getting engaged and you have gone far ahead! Meet me soon and we will talk about everything okay!", Advika told her over the phone.

"You wait baby, I am coming tomorrow morning itself I don't care what the timings are!", Arshi  announced!

"I knew that already infact I am surprised you aren't coming tonight itself", Advika laughed at her excitement.

"It was a great idea of yours but I'll come early morning tomorrow", Arshi replied happily.

In the evening all the ladies had gathered on the terrace of Advika's house for getting their henna done while all the men of the families were enjoying themselves downstairs.

Advika didn't feel as happy as she should be of her engagement. Marraige was a very sacred commitment and it mattered to her a lot. She might have made fun of it sometimes but she wholeheartedly believed in it's purity.

She had her dreams about her engagement and wedding like every normal girl, everything was according to her wishes but still she felt incomplete, there was a void in her heart which would never fill ever again and she had accepted it.

In the end, who are we to go against our destiny. Advika was thinking of all this while both of her hands were still and getting decorated by the beautiful henna desings.

She didn't realise that she was sitting with a sullen face until the photographer asked her to smile for the pictures and be a little happy cause all the previous candids seemed as if she was gonna die the next day and not get engaged.

Advika masked a beautiful smile over her thoughts and evening was passing by. Once she was done with her henna the photographer asked Rohit to join her for some pictures.

After some beautiful clicks of the bride and the groom in the sunset that looked beautiful from her terrace the photographer complimented them that they looked really cute together and the pictures have turned out really cool, Rohit blushed at his compliment while Advika gave him her beautiful smile.

It was the day of her engagement and as promised Arshi was present at her place at 10 in the morning. Mansi and Arshi shook the house alive with their cheerfulness and woke up everyone including Advika who still wanted a little more time in bed. It wasn't her fault, sleeping made her forget all her worries for a few hours and it felt good and also they had slept late the previous night!

Arshi and Mansi stood near Advika's bed on either sides of her and looked at each other indicating something through their eyes.

Advika was sleeping with the duvet over her face, Mansi switched on the fan and put it on full speed then both of them held the duvet at the opposite ends and on the count of three pulled it off Advika and let it drop to the floor near the bed.

"What the holy fuck", Advika groaned with the sudden attack.

She was in her tank top and shorts which brought shivers to her skin when they pulled off the duvet and the cold air hit her exposed skin, causing her to get up quickly and sit with her legs folded and place a pillow on them for warmth.

Whiskey barked at Advika and got on the bed snuggling into her lap while Arshi and Mansi started laughing looking at her face.
She even struggled to open her eyes as her room was bright with the sunlight and she was inside her duvet in the darkness for a long time!

She mentally cursed herself for having her room where the sun directly peeped in through the window in the morning!

"You bitches, let me sleep peacefully atleast today!", Arshi and Mansi couldn't control their laughters seeing Advika in such a state. Advika threw 2 pillows at both of their faces and got down of the bed to switch off the fan.

Arshi plunged at Advika and back hugged her placing her arms over Advika's shoulders and kissed her cheek, "Good morning bride!"

"Thank you so much to both my sisters for making my morning not so good", Advika said going into the washroom to freshen up while Mansi and Arshi still continued to laugh at their own smart tactic.
