30. Meeting the formerly chosen son-in-law

"Former candidate for son-in-law", Mansi whispered to me surprised!

"Shut up", I glared at her.

"Sorry?!", Bhavin looked at me shocked.

"uh no not you....sry Hi.....", I shuttered.

"Hi ?! Done?! Such a dry hello?"

I just smiled awkwardly at him.

"Hi Mansi ! How r u?", Bhavin asked Mansi and gave her one of his cute genuine smile.

"Me? Very fine!!!", Mansi said cheerfully.

"You're still the same, cheerful and enthusiastic but ugh your sister your exact opposite right!?", Bhavin chuckled looking at me and for a moment I felt as if I had travelled 6-7 years back in my life where I and Bhavin were the good friends who mocked each other and also loved each others company and shared our feelings.

"Yeah yeah, but the thing is I have been dragging her around for hours now for Shopping and that too without food, so the rest you know!" Mansi joined him at giggling at me.

"That's a huge risk you have taken, you know right she might eat you alive at any point right now?!", Bhavin laughed full fledged at this point along with Mansi.

"Guys you realise right I am standing right here!"

"Yes Advika that's the reason we are laughing at you right", Bhavin teased.

"Arey yaar, come here-", Bhavin came closer and gave me a calm hug. I could feel him happy, his eyes held the peace and happiness about something, I couldn't make out what it was.
I didn't object and hugged him back

"How are you lost friend?", He asked me softly still hugging me and I oddly felt calm.

"Actually....great yaar!", I replied.

"When did you come back?", He said looking down at me still keeping up the hug

"Almost a month back ", I looked up into his brown eyes which held the twinkle which instantly made me sure that there was something he was very happy about.

"Oh! For? Like work or just to visit?"

"Work actually, a new project here.", and we moved away putting a little distance between us.

"Ohh, great, who are you working with?", He asked surprised.

"Umm- what are you doing here?', I asked him changing the topic

"Just a little shopping was to be done specially for my baby sisters bhaidooj gift madam has gotten very busy with her shoots these days!", he said.

"Oh my god! Uncle let her do what she wanted? How is she? I am so happy for her"

"She is great, and happy! Dad couldn't push her into business when I put forward a deal, if he wanted me to be into the business with my 100% abilities he has to let her do all she wants and not bind her", he said smiling proudly yet there was a slight hint of sadness in his words which I knew very well.

"I am proud of you Bhavin!", This is all I could say when I heard him.

"Uhmm...Bhavin actually I need to leave, I have a shoot scheduled. We will meet soon!"

"Okay yes! It was good to see you again Advika."

We bid our goodbyes and I rushed Mansi out of the store to get something to eat and rush for my shoot. Mansi agreed to drive me to the location and them go home. Most of the drive went silent as we ate, basically I ate and fed the kid beside me who was driving ke to the shoot Location. Thankfully there wasn't much of traffic or I was sure to get late.
