Oh god, she's gorgeous...

The moment he set his eyes on her he was mesmerized. The world went in slow motion as he watched the way she brushed her hair behind her ear and gave him the warmest smile.

Dianne.

What a beautiful name. It ran in his mind over and over. Everything about her was perfect. Her hair was honey-golden, it looked soft to the touch. And her eyes were like chocolate. 

Wilbur hadn't known that Tommy knew a girl like this. Why didn't he introduce him sooner? Tommy had never mentioned he was even friends with a girl. But Wilbur knew Toby. Tommy always talked about Toby.

"Sorry I was playing Minecraft with Toby"

"I decided to walk home with Toby today"

"Sorry, I went to spend the night at Toby's"

He knew a lot about Toby, thanks to of course Tommy's nonstop blabbering about him. So when the smaller brunette greeted Wilbur all he could mutter out was a simple "Hi." He didn't mean to come off cold, but Wilbur knew Toby and he never heard of Dianne. 

"It's so wonderful to meet you too!" She gave him a warm smile. If Wilbur already wasn't obtaining a crush on her he was now.

Her voice is even beautiful

It was too good to be true. "Hey Tommy you never mentioned Dianne before, and I've never seen her with you before either" Wilbur pried.

"That's because she's new shithead, she just got here today" Tommy rolled his eyes closing his locker. 

"Oh! My bad, where are you from Dianne?" Wilbur asked politely, his eyes staring straight into hers. 

"Oh, I'm from Liverpool but I moved here for family reasons" She explained placing her hands behind her back and crossing her fingers. 

"You know, I'm special too. I'm from my mum" Toby spoke up trying to get the group's attention. Everyone started laughing "Toby did you know I'm with your mum" Tommy wiggled his eyebrows. "Shut it" Toby playfully punched Tommy in the shoulder.

"Hey- Oh shit, would you look at the time-" Tommy glanced up at the clock in the hall. "Class starts in 5 minutes! Come on Tobes we need to go, I'll catch you guys after school yeah?" Tommy quickly asked his friends.

"Sure!" Dianne exclaimed. Wilbur just nodded with a smile. "Great, see you!" Tommy yelled as he ran down the hall with Toby leaving Wilbur and Dianne by themselves.

"Uh, I guess we should get to class too?" Dianne rubbed the back of her head smiling sheepishly at the tall boy.  "Yeah, I guess so" Wilbur smiled back still admiring her beauty. 

The two stood there for a couple of seconds smiling at each other before Dianne stopped the trance. "I'll see you soon" She smiled warmly walking away, her hair bouncing slightly. 

Wilbur just stared at her as she turned the corner. Wilbur hadn't felt like this for someone ever. Of course, he had been asked out a couple of times but honestly, Wilbur didn't really care much for those girls. It was all one-sided anyway. Dianne was different, he didn't know how he just felt it.

I'm an idiot.

Wilbur shook his head and grabbed the books out of his locker. He needed to get to class and move on with the rest of the school day, he would see Dianne later anyway.
