He ran his fingers through his hair fixing it, rolling his eyes as he tucked his phone away into his pocket. The halls were a mess as students gathered things from their lockers, friend groups meeting up with each other, and others just trying to get the hell out of that place.
As if there wasn't already enough on his plate, now he had to worry about more than Toby's stupid antics. Why did he have to bring his whole friend group into this? It wasn't Toby's business in the first place, but really wasn't any of the rest of his friend's business either. All Toby had been was an annoyance.
Stealing things from his and Tommy's locker, taking his house keys, now he was having some lame-ass friend of his follow Wilbur around. Wilbur had to agree, Alex was really careful when he was following him around, any person wouldn't have realized it at first glance. After all, no one really expected to ever get stalked, but in Wilbur's case, he had already known beforehand.
Wilbur wanted to make sure Toby knew that Wilbur had managed to get into his house, he wanted Toby to know who's in charge in this situation. So he had snuck over to Toby's house once again, after Dianne left of course, he wanted to make sure his message had gotten through.
It wasn't so hard to find out Toby's plans since his bedroom window had been open, and it really helped that Toby and each of his friends were equally loud. Wilbur had rolled his eyes once he listened in on the group's plan for Alex to follow him around school today, but it was rather an irritation than a worry to Wilbur.
Alex following him around hadn't even been an obstacle for Wilbur. Wilbur knew how to play this game very well, an easy win. All he had to do was just go about his day, Alex wouldn't find anything. Wilbur had sent a little warning text to the guy after gym but it really wasn't meant for him, it was meant for Toby, after all that's who would be most irked by it by the end of the day.
Finally his day with Alex was over though, no it wasn't that big of a deal but Wilbur was ready to get home just like everyone else that still remained in the school. He sighed turning the corner, making his way to Dianne's locker but he stopped in his tracks and backtracked back around the corner spotting Toby who was now walking up to his girlfriend.
Wilbur stood with his back against the wall, his head turned to the side to listen in on what might occur as well as see.
"Dianne," Toby walked over to the girl.
Dianne turned around to face Toby, an irritated look on her face. "What do you want?"
Toby slipped his bag off of his shoulder unzipping quickly, Dianne staring at his movements. Toby pulled out an item that made a jingle, Dianne's expression now rested. "Here" He held out the object to her.
"The keys?" Dianne grabbed them slowly, staring down at them. "You come to your senses finally?" She looked back up at Toby, an eyebrow raised.
"Dianne," Toby inhaled. " You give those keys back to Wilbur and you stay away from him ok?"
"What?" Dianne's irritation appeared again, her brows furrowing.
"He's up to something. Dianne, please listen to me. You're potentially in danger, and so is Tommy" Toby's eyes stared into hers pleading, desperate for her to listen.
"Toby, seriously, you need to stop this" Dianne looked back into his eyes, she slowly started to feel pity for him. "I know you're upset about Tommy, but Wilbur's a good guy, I really think you have things all wrong here." She tried explaining to him.
"He's hiding things, Dianne, I can show you, I found things," Toby tried to explain but his expression soon faltered once he realized Wilbur had taken all the things he and Clay found in Tommy's locker. "Well- He stole some of the things back but-"
