The room was filled with silence, besides the sound of Tommy clicking a pen repetitively. Slumped back against the wall, Wilbur tugged at the carpet his mind pondering over the time. Sunday wasn't treating him well, he was supposed to be studying for an upcoming exam in maths, but of course, his mind was elsewhere.
After hours of procrastination and checking on the time on his phone repeatedly, he had accomplished nothing. Having wasted the day away over a text that he had yet to receive, it was now eight o'clock. Why hasn't she texted him yet? It wasn't like her.

Wilbur groaned picking himself up from the ground, Tommy glanced at Wilbur and his dramatics before rolling his eyes and looking back to his laptop. Wilbur sighed walking over to his friend "how's it going?"
"Almost done actually," Tommy looked up at Wilbur, his expression plain. "I'd ask you how your work was going but, you haven't even started."
"Ok look," Wilbur rolled his eyes.
"It hasn't even been a day Wil, she's probably just busy. She has a life too y'know" Tommy stated interrupting his friend.
Wilbur let out a sigh, now sitting down next to Tommy. "I know," He relaxed his shoulders and ran his hand through his hair. "What sounds good for dinner?"
"Hmm," Tommy tilted his head to the side, his brain going through all the possible places they could order food from. "Dominos?" He quirked an eyebrow.
"Dominos" Wilbur nodded getting up to grab his phone, Tommy smiled, his fist out in victory. Wilbur walked over to his bed picking up his phone, the screen lighting up at the touch. Nothing. No text from Dianne. Wilbur searched up Dominos and got their phone number, now giving them a call.

Tommy looked back to his laptop, staring intensely at the presentation he had just finished. He hummed, his brows furrowed as he skimmed through everything he put together. He shrugged his shoulders and closed his laptop. "Looks pretty good if I do say so myself" He whispered to himself, a grin of satisfaction. He stood up and made his way out of Wilbur's room, leaving Wilbur to do all the dirty work when it comes to ordering the pizza.
His footsteps were quiet when it came to walking across the carpet. After quickly making his way down the stairs, he had finally gotten to his desired destination, the kitchen. Opening the fridge his eyes scanned the shelf for his one true love, coke.
"Ah HA!" He exclaimed, his eyes grew wide at the sight of the can. Quickly snatching it from the fridge he opened it and took a sip. "Mhm," He placed the can down. "Just as good as it was before"
"Stealing from my fridge again?" Wilbur quirked a brow, standing in the doorway. "You know it" Tommy smiled with no shame. "Gremlin" Wilbur shook his head. "Pizza should be here in fifteen"
"Great, I'm starved" Tommy set the can down on the counter. "So...?"
"Nothing." Wilbur sighed, leaning on the counter. "I know she's probably busy ok? But she usually texts me in the morning, we call, and sometimes she even comes over for a few hours. I just, miss her..." He trailed off with a frown.
"You are such a simp" Tommy evilly grinned shaking his head. "It hasn't even a day and it's "I miss her" PFF" Tommy mocked.
Wilbur rolled his eyes and shook his head smiling. "You're an idiot"

Wilbur's eyes widened as Tommy smirked. "You should check that" Tommy raised his can in the air, cheering the air. Wilbur pulled his phone out from his back pocket, Tommy squeezing by him and walking to the living room.
