The halls were crowded, as usual, Dianne tried to avoid any eye contact. She was tired from the night before, her Netflix binging hobby wasn't helping with her sleep schedule. She made her way to her locker by herself, Wilbur hadn't walked her to school today.

Dianne was missing her boyfriend, but he had texted her last night that he felt he had a cold and felt he shouldn't show up to school today in case it got worse, and of course, he apologized for not walking her to school today.

She let out a long sigh, she really wasn't in the mood for school today and her mind wandered to her concern for Wilbur constantly. Ever since the incident where

"Toby broke into my house"

Dianne had been worried about Wilbur.  He would go through constant mood changes it seemed, one moment he'd be smiling and joking around with her, and then the next he would be ignoring everything around him staring into space, like something was bothering him. She couldn't blame him though, Toby hadn't even given him his keys back yet.

Dianne decided on going past his house after school, maybe some company would cheer him up. With the shut of her locker she started on her down the hall, she didn't get very far as a familiar fluffy blond-haired boy came into view.

"Hey Tommy!" Dianne gave him a bright smile as she walked over to him.

"Hi!" He returned the same smile. "How are you?"

"I'm good, just tired" She gave a thumbs down.

"Enough Netflix Dianne, it's not good for the brain" Tommy pointed to his head jokingly.

"Yea yea" Dianne rolled her eyes playfully. "How are you? Any news about the keys?"

"I'm alright, and no, no news about the keys. Nothing from Toby" Tommy's smile faltered.

"Sorry to bring it up- It's just Wil seems under the weather lately. I went with him to get a new set of keys of course, not like that solves the problem- I just really wish Toby would quit this bullshit." She explained, shaking her head.

"Me and you both" Tommy rolled his eyes, opening his locker.

"I think- what's wrong?" Dianne questioned, her friend was currently frozen in place, his mouth wide open. She looked over to try and see what had Tommy so shocked.

"What the fuck?" They both said in unison before turning their heads to look at each other.

"He fucking took all my shit!" Tommy shouted, some heads turning to look at him before turning away, knowing Tommy was a loud individual usually.

"You're fucking kidding me right? What the fuck is his problem?" Dianne was furious, she felt her heartbeat fasten its pace. She had enough with Toby, he had been harassing her boyfriend, and now he was stealing her friend's belongings. If she saw Toby she would-

"PFF- you did the homework? Couldn't be me Toby" A voice laughed not too far away. Dianne turned her head at the mention of the name. She turned on her heel, facing the group of boys who had been fooling around being obnoxiously loud. There was Toby, and this had been Dianne's last straw. "Dianne-" Tommy was too late, Dianne had already set her eyes on the boy and was marching right up to him.

"Oh yea? And you know who I was with-"

"What the fuck do you think you're doing?" Dianne cut off one of the boys who was in the middle of telling some story, her eyes staring straight into Toby's.

"Uh-" The guy with the fluffy brown hair was confused by the sudden appearance Dianne had made.

"What?" Toby asked, also confused as to why Dianne had marched up to him and his friends in fury.

"You know what the fuck I'm talking about. Quit fucking stealing people's shit. First, you steal Wilbur's house keys and now you steal all of Tommy's belongings out of his locker?" If looks could kill, Dianne's would've at that moment.

"Dianne- You know what, it's honestly not your business" Toby scoffed, turning away to face his locker, his tone low.

"Actually Toby, it is. If it involves Wilbur and Tommy, it definitely involves me. Do you know how distressed Wilbur is? He's so worried about you doing something reckless he hasn't been acting himself" Dianne explained. "And you're causing Tommy to question his friendship with you as well. It doesn't seem like you two are much of friends though, friends don't do shit like this" She talked to his back. The other four boys looked at Dianne and Toby, confused looks on theirs faces.

"Enough Dianne" Toby spoke, his back facing her still. "No Toby, what you're doing is enough. Give me the fucking keys" Her tone demanding.

"And if I don't? You stupid-" Before he could finish his words, in a flash he was bashed up against his locker, his head slammed against metal while Dianne's fist clenched the material of his shirt's collar.

"Stupid what?" She spoke lowly, her eyes stared straight into his. Toby was frozen in place, some "ooo"'s were heard from the people in the halls and from some of Toby's friends.

Students were now crowded around the scene, including Tommy who was glaring at Toby. Dianne gave Toby a chance to speak but he couldn't mutter a word, in shock of what just occurred. "That's what I thought" She released him and turned to walk away. "Those keys better be in my locker by the end of the week or else. You have no excuses since you know exactly how to get into people's lockers anyway." She stated, her tone threatening. Toby was still frozen in place, the rest of the students as well.

Dianne made her way out of the crowd as she grabbed Tommy's arm leading him away from the scene. The two made their way to a secluded spot in the halls. "That was insane" Tommy smiled, his hand raised for a high-five. Dianne reached her hand up to his taking the offer, a small smile on her face. "I was serious though, he better give me those fucking keys" She stated, her tone becoming serious again.

"You think he will?" Tommy asked hopeful. "He better, or else he's gonna have to deal with me. He can't keep getting away with shit like this" She stated, glancing over to Toby and his friends once more from across the way.

"What will we do if he doesn't?" Tommy questioned, also shooting a glance over to Toby. "Well- I haven't thought that through yet, but I'll think of something" Dianne sighed. "We'll think of something, ok?" Tommy corrected with a determined smile. "We're a team"

Dianne nodded, returning the smile.
