The wind blew her hair into her face, this seemed like the millionth time she had brushed it out of her face. She fixed her scarf as she looked around trying to spot the boy she was waiting for. Dianne had arrived at the park fifteen minutes early than what she and Toby had discussed.

A sigh escaped her lips, she wondered if this was the right thing to do, to encourage Toby's strange behavior. Deep down the feeling put a knot in her stomach, the thought of Wilbur turning out to be someone completely different.

Footsteps were slowly fading in from behind her. She turned around to find Toby but he wasn't alone, a boy much taller than him stood next to him, his dirty blonde hair in his eyes.

"Hello Dianne" Toby's mouth grew into a smile.

"Hi" Dianne smiled back, it felt nice when Toby was around. Of course she'd seen him at school, but never after school, they haven't hung out as friends in a while. She then looked up at the tall boy next to Toby. "Hello" Dianne greeted with an awkward smile.

"Oh! My bad, Dianne this is Clay, he's been my partner in crime!" Toby introduced gesturing to the boy.

"Hello" Clay smiled sheepishly. "It's nice to finally meet you" He held out his hand.

"It's nice to meet you too" She shook his hand gently. "Should we sit?" Dianne looked over to a nearby bench.

The two boys nodded as the trio made their way over to sit down. Once everyone got comfortable, Dianne spoke up. "Thanks for giving me a second chance and coming here to talk, I know I haven't been the nicest recently..." She trailed off.

"Oh, you're forgiven Dianne, I know you only got mad at me because of your concern for Tommy and Wilbur" Toby smiled apologetically. "But I suppose I should start explaining" He chuckled nervously.

"Yes please, I'm actually genuinely curious" Dianne spoke turning to face the two boys.

Dianne listened to Toby and Clay, taking in every detail. Her brain was scrambled from the polaroid situation to Wilbur stalking them from outside their houses, and how Wilbur apparently had gotten into Toby's house to take all the evidence they had found from Tommy's locker. It was all fresh and strange to her, this didn't sound like the Wilbur she knew.

"So... all this really happened? Really?" Dianne spoke lowly.

"Yes, I know it sounds crazy but-" Toby sighed. "It really just sounds ridiculous, doesn't it? We don't even have any proof of any of it..." He trailed off with a frown.

"Dianne," Clay spoke up. "No, we have no proof, but we have witnesses. I have no reason to lie about anything that has happened. George was my best friend, I haven't had any contact with Wilbur until now. No bad blood. The rest of our friends know about him too, our friend Alex actually got this text from Wilbur" Clay explained pulling out his phone.

Dianne furrowed her brows at the screenshot.

Or you're going to have to watch yourself.

"I do have a question for you," Clay watched Dianne read over the text.

"Ask away" Dianne replied, her eyes glued to the screen.

"Is that his phone number? Wilbur's? I suppose if it was it would confirm our suspicions that he's watching us" Clay proposed.
