3. One Jump

Louisa's p.o.v

He glares at me while saying "I'd blame parents, except she hasn't got them!" Then he tried to punch me, so I dodge and adjust my glasses. I look at the guys with a playful smile, booty bumping the one that twirled me.
"Gotta eat to live-" I sung a bit quick before standing between the three and shrugging a bit-
"Gotta steal to eat-" I sung as they just glared at me, so I go back towards the window and stand on the fire escape.
"Tell you all about it when I got the time~-" I sung as Kitty got on my shoulders, I can tell she grabbed a few things.

Though one of the guys push me back and I easily hold my arms up and grab the end of the ladder, then I swung to the ground. Easily I went behind a hobo who was trying to get money by flexing what muscles he had. The guards ran right past as I snicker to myself softly-
"One jump.. ahead of the slowpokes" I sing softly to myself as I kept being in sync with the hobo, so I chuckle at this.
"One skip.. ahead of my doom" I sing as I continue flexing in sync with the guy, but after a second I lost sync and everyone sees me. With that I nervously laugh while starting to tiptoe away before the guards see me-
"Next time.. gonna use a nom de plume" I sing softly- "there she is!" I start running and get to dog walkers that I always pass by. I smile as I easily pass through the dogs since they know me, but they crowded around the guards as they sniff them.
"One jump.. ahead of the hitmen!" I sing while trying not to laugh and look back at the guards as they struggled to get around the dogs.
"One hit.. ahead of the flock" I sing as I start going a bit farther and put my hands in my pockets, I felt Kitty get off my back for a second.
"I think I'll take a stroll around the block" I say as I make a bit of a run for it and try to keep an eye out for Kitty. "Stop thief!" "Vandall!!" That second yell I paid attention to as I look inside a jewelry store to see Kitty with jewelry on and someone's glaring at her.

I go in for a second as I grab her "Kitty!" I scold her as I run outside with her- around the corner there's a guard, so I run the other way. Though I didn't get that far as more guards came and I got cornered, so I smile at them. I go on the porch that I'm near-

"Let's not be too hasty..." I trail off while nervously laughing, but the door opened and I felt picked up.
"Still I think she's rather tasty!" A guy sang as he picked me up, my eyes widened as I roll out of his hold and somehow through the crowd of guards. I stopped in front of two as I stand up-
"Gotta eat to live-
Gotta steal to eat-" I sang as I lean against Tigerclaw a bit with a smile and I grab the bread before he could.
"Otherwise, we'd get along~" I sang as I already prepared for my escape from them, they all jumped at me as I slid below.
"WRONG!" They yelled as they're probably in a pile fighting who they thought was me as Kitty and I hide within vases that are our perfect size.

'Someone must've ordered these-' "get her!" Rahzar yelled out angrily, so I get out of my vase as Kitty jumps on my back. Running I get to a park and see children sitting down while playing with legos, so I easily jump over half of them. Then I use a kid's back to push off and get me over the other half before I kept running. Kitty climbs down my back and grabs the dagger from my belt before running towards the guards. My eyes widen as I watch from around the corner to see the guards looking at her scared.

"She's got a weapon!" One of the random guards yell as Kitty poses with the dagger, so I facepalm softly while chuckling. Tigerclaw's voice got my attention though "idiots, we've all got weapons!" He yelled out while pulling out a sword. All the guards pull out a weapon as Kitty nervously smiles and drops the dagger. I felt her climbing back onto my shoulder as I shake my head from her losing the dagger and start running again. Going down an alley I see guards at the end while I already know there's some coming behind me.

Before any of them got too close I jump up and grab the ladder of a fire escape and just running up that to a random rooftop and jumping down. In a different alley I land and keep running-

"One jump.. ahead of the hoofbeats!" I sing as I was running, but more guards come, so I go the other way. "Vandal!"
"One hop.. ahead of the hump!" I sing as I try to run through a different alley, but there stood more guards. "Street rat!" They yelled as Kitty went onto a fire escape and starts going up, so I followed her.
"One trick.. ahead of disaster!" I sing as I ran up the fire escape- "scoundrel!!" They yelled as I see Kitty looking at them scared. 'Looks like they found out my planning on going by rooftops-' I think before getting to Kitty.
"They're quick.. but I'm much faster!" I sing as I grab her and barely save us from getting sliced at by the swords/weapons. I was in an empty apartment as I grab a random rug that was just sitting on the floor. Going towards a different window I shrug while looking back at the guards that are coming in.
"Here goes.. better throw my hand in-
Wish me happy landing-" I sang quick as they're running towards me to tackle me, so I jump out while sitting on the rug. "All I gotta do is- JUUUUMP!" I yell out as it somehow glides across the air and the guards go straight down. 'I really need food if I'm light enough for a rug to glide with me and Kitty on it' I think a bit worriedly.
