12. Duped

Louisa's p.o.v

The lava starts to make a wave, so my eyes widen as I shriek saying "come on, carpet- you got this!" We got to the tunnel. The lava still following us in its wave as we go, but at a certain point there was a bit of rubble falling. I made us go under it to avoid it and go back up- but Kitty was getting so scared she grabbed onto my head. This annoyed me since I still had to help steer us out of here, so I set her on my back saying "Kitty." Once I got her off it looks like we're about to run into a dead end "nevermind, right now is perfect timing to panic."

The carpet made us do a dive down and we're back into that first room that me and Kitty were in, so we continue flying towards the exit. We dodged so many random things of fire shooting up, we were getting so much closer. That's when something hit carpet down and both Kitty and I flew forward- I grunt as I hit the stairs. I fell down a bit before I was able to actually grab on, but it was only barely the edge as I couldn't pull myself up. There stood the gecko right there "can you help me out?!" I yell as I struggle with holding on.

He kneels down a bit saying "just throw the lamp!" I shake my head yelling out "I can't hold on!!" It looks like another figure is standing by him. "Have your friend help me!! Give me a hand!" I yell out as I barely hold out my hand. "Just hand over the lamp!" The other yelled, I couldn't see his face at all, so I grab the lamp from my belt. I hold it out as I'm still barely holding on, but that person was able to grab it and they start laughing loudly. "YESS! AT LAST!" They yelled from above, Kitty finally was able to get a cane before holding it out for me.

She was pulling me up and I was actually almost out- when the man with the gecko kicked Kitty away and I had to go back to hanging on. The gecko barely grabbed me by my wrist as I look up at the figure "what are you doing?!" I yell out. "It's just your reward, street rat!" That man yelled before saying "throw her!!" I look up at the gecko sadly. He looks at me a bit sadly too saying "I'm sorry" then he threw me back, so I shriek as I go. It sounded like the man got hurt as Kitty was thrown down with me, we're both falling to our death.

I hit the side of the wall a few times before it felt like carpet caught me, so I grunt at the landing and then a bit of rubble landing near us. That rubble took us down, but at the rough landing I shoved the rock off of the carpet. It pulled us over to a bit of cover, so I wait here until everything's calm... I nervously laugh. "I'VE BEEN DUPED BY SOME STUPID GECKO!!" I yell out angrily as I walk out of the little crawl space.

No one's p.o.v

-with the gecko-

Mondo looks down sadly as he hugs himself, feeling a bit bad that he was used as some pawn just to take out some girl. Saki just happily laughs as he says "it's mine... it's all mine!" He dug in his back pocket where he put it. Though he felt it wasn't there, Karai was smiling saying "show us, father" Saki huffed as he dug all around him. "Where is it?.." he asks himself as he kept searching any of his pockets and even the ground around him. Then realization hit "that monkey- NOOOO!!" He fell to his knees as he yelled out in defeat.

-at the castle-

Donatello has still been sad the entire time in his room, Michelangelo and Raphael had finally decided to get Yoshi to talk to him. Especially since Donatello had been crying that entire day, so right now Yoshi is going into Donatello's room. "Donatello?.." Yoshi asks as he walks in, Donatello just looks down sadly at his feet. Yoshi went to Donatello's bed and sat next to him "what is wrong, my son?" Yoshi asked again. Donatello looks back at his father saying "Saki... has done something.. terrible" he barely got that out.

He was struggling to not break down, so Yoshi set his hand on Donatello's shoulder saying "everything is alright, my son. We'll set things right, now tell me everything"

Louisa's p.o.v

I just groan while holding my head "I'm getting so upset I'm starting to get a headache" looking up I see that the exit is closed. "We're trapped... that gecko looked regretful, I'm betting that other man is who really duped me. Whoever he was.. he's long gone with that lamp" I say while laying on my back and looking up. Kitty sat on my stomach while chittering a bit to get my attention, so I lift my head up to see her smirk. She shows the lamp in her hold with a smile, so my eyes widen as I pick her up and sit up and set her back on my lap.

"You really are a little thief, aren'tcha?" I teasingly ask as I accept the lamp, she sticks her tongue out at me before curling up on my lap. She looked just as curious as I feel about this lamp, so I hold it up to get a good look at it. "It looks so beat up... kind of like junk, it looks like there's words, but it's covered in dirt" I say and start wiping at it. The lamp starts to have a red hue to it as it sounds like there's two different laughs coming from it. A giant thing of light that looks like it could be fireworks shoot out of the little neck part of the lamp.
