2. Guards

No one's p.o.v

She barely made it on, her feet on two different lines as she slides down a bit, from how many clothes her feet went over she tripped. Louisa caught a shirt as she put the bread in the back of her own shirt, she used the shirt in hand to zip-line down the rope. Though where it led to was an open window that had a man standing at it having clothespins in hand. His eyes widened as he screamed and closed the window, so Louisa yelped as she hit the window and starts falling back. She had different fabrics on her as she fell through two different tarps and then she lands on the ground with a thud.

Louisa's p.o.v

I smirk as I sit up and grab the bread from my shirt, chuckling I see that it's still intact as I look at it, but from above I hear those three are angered. "You won't get away so easy!" Rahzar yells out, so I scoff playfully at that "you think that was easy?" I ask out loud. I hear some people chuckling, everyone knows me- in a way, I do this a lot. I put the piece of fabric that's on me over my head as I stand by them with a smile, behind me I hear more guards searching for me. "Morning, ladies" I say with a smile, so the one inside a house shakes her head playfully at me with a knowing smile.

"Getting into trouble a little early, huh?" She asks, so I chuckle saying "trouble? Nah" then I quiet down a bit in case the guards are listening. "You're only in trouble if you get caught-" I got interrupted as I'm grabbed by the back of my shirt. "Gotcha!" The guard says, so my eyes widen at this "I'm in trouble" I say to myself as he holds me to look him in the eye. He really looked angry as he says "and this time-" but he also got interrupted by his hat being shoved on his face. I look up on his head to see Kitty, my pet monkey, on top of him as she looked happy, so I smile big.

She was snickering a bit as she points down at the guard, he was struggling to get his hat out of his face that he let go of me. "Great timing, Kitty, as usual" I say to her which got her to bow with a playful smile, so I start walking past the guard. I was only looking at him as I kept walking and Kitty jumped onto my back "okay, let's get out of here" I whisper. That's when I walk into someone, so looking forward I see that it was another guard.

"Gotta keep.. one jump ahead of the bread line" I sang softly as I avoided the swing of his sword, Kitty jumped off my back and onto a dumpster. He looked prepared to still slice at me, but I held the bread out mockingly like he was with his sword. With that he swung at me again, but I easily dodged as he just hit a different garbage can.
"One swing.. ahead of the sword!" I sing as I leaned against his arm, Kitty got his attention though as she stuck her tongue out at him. He swung at her and she ducked just in time too, but as he was distracted I easily slipped off his belt.
"I steal, only what I can't afford.." I sing as his pants fall down, Kitty snickered a bit at the sight and I start walking past him with a smile. "And that's everything" I joke as I start to run since he pulled his pants up, Kitty jumped right onto my back too.
"One jump.. ahead of the law-man" I sing as I ran through alleys, but at the end of one a different guard found me as he's glaring at me.
"That's all, and that's no joke~-" I sing as I got him to get the sword stuck into the ground for a second, Kitty's eyes widened at the sight. Though I run up a fire escape and look back down at the many guards that are below me.
"These guys don't appreciate I'm broke~.." I sing playfully as I grab the potted plant right here and drop it on the guard that was closest to me. He fell back as he fell onto the others which got them all back on the ground, so I kept climbing.
"Riff raff!" One guard yelled out, but it was right on point with my singing, so I tried not to laugh at that.
"Street rat!!" Two other guards yell as I'm still going up, but I finally made it to the rooftop of this building.
"Scoundrel" a guard yelled as I look down to see them all glaring up at me-
"Take that!" A few yelled as I dodged some daggers that were thrown at me, so I hold out the bread with a soft smile.
"Just a little snack, guys" I sing softly- they threw more daggers, so I had to hide, duck and hold my head as I hear the daggers hit the roof. I grab one and put it on my own belt while looking down, they kept throwing a few random things to hit me down.
"Rip her open and take her back, guys!" They all yelled as they finally stopped throwing stuff, Kitty jumped towards a different building's fire escape. Her legs were on the platform as she held her hands out to me, so I put my arm over my eyes.
"I can take a hint, gotta face the facts-" I sung a bit before jumping and putting the bread back into my shirt before grabbing Kitty's hands. "You're my only friend, Kitty" I say as we ended up inside an apartment, in here are a bunch of guys. They look at me with a bit of flirtatious looks-
"Oh, it's sad Louisa's hit the bottom~" They sung as Kitty looked around the kitchen, so I roll my eyes playfully at the guys. One of them even twirled me-
"She's become a one-girl rise in crime~" They sung again as I was twirled into a hard chest, so I look up to see the father of these three.
