23. Carpet Ride

"Louise's" p.o.v

"Stop him! Stop him!!" He says while pointing at Donatello's retreating figure, but I was trying to think on how I could talk with him. "Just beeee yourself" April says before her and Leonardo go into the lamp that's inside my purse. I scoff softly and mumble "yeah right!.." "what?" Donatello asks as he looks back at me from the divider. 'Shoot, he realized I talked out loud' I think before a bit of an idea came to my head and I look down. "I said.. you're right, you're not some prize to be won, you should be free to make your own choice."

Then I jump up onto the railing again before facing the two saying "I'll take my leave" then I fell back and onto Carpet. "No!" Donatello says scared, but I got Carpet to go up a bit as I look around confused. "What?!?" I ask, acting like I was trying to see why he yelled out "how... how are you doing that?" Donatello asks. He looks over the railing as I move Carpet around causing Raphael to say "oh yeah, Prissy Penumbra has a magic carpet." I flew up to be by Donatello as I am actually a bit over the balcony so I could get a better look at them.

Donatello chuckles a bit saying "it's... lovely" Carpet pat the back of Donatello's hand a bit causing me to hold back a chuckle. I twirl some of my hair around a finger as I say "you wouldn't... wanna go for a ride, would you?" He crossed his arms. Though he's actually smiling a bit as I continue on with "we could get out of the palace. See the world?" Donatello starts rubbing the top of Carpet with a smile at the idea. Raphael raised an eye-ridge at me saying "is it safe?" I smile while standing up saying "sure. Do ya trust me?"

The two both look at me confused as Donatello was the one to ask "what?.." I smile while holding out my hand to him. "Do you trust me?" I ask again which got him to look at me before looking at my hand and finally said "yes." I pulled him onto Carpet with ease thanks to the genie's power to give me strength. Though we start to go off and into the air as I smile, but Donatello wrapped his arms around me. It felt like he could've fell if I didn't keep us both up, so I smile back at him before looking back forward.

"You better bring him back in one piece, do ya hear me!?" Raphael yells out, but we just laughed at his anger and continue flying off. I got Carpet to get us out of the castle's walls and we're now flying over New York pretty fast. The lights were amazing as we passed each individual building, but I smile at Donatello over my shoulder.

"I can show you the world~..
Shining, shimmering, splendid~" I sang as he moved to be by my side, so I hard swallow to try and keep my calm.
"Tell me, prince - now when did you last let your heart.. decide?~" I ask as we're in an alley, but Carpet hands me a flower. Accepting it I hold it out for Donatello, who smiles and accepts it while smelling it a bit.
"I can open your eyes~" I sing as I look up at him which made him still smile at me while holding the flower.
"Take you wonder by wonder~" I sing as we start to fly around the Statue of Liberty before flying around town again.
"Over, sideways and under-
On a magic carpet ride!" I sing out as we actually do the actions I sang out loud 'thank you, Carpet' I think as we did that.
"A whole new world~.." I sing as we're now up in the clouds, then we both start looking down at the city as it gets smaller as we go higher.
"A new fantastic point of view!" I sing as it looks like we're above most of the clouds, so I laugh a bit while throwing my arms up.
"No one to tell us 'no'!
Or where to go!
Or say we're only dreaming" when I sang that last part I look back at Donatello which got him smiling down at me.
"A whole new world~..
A dazzling place I never knew!
But when I'm way up here-
It's crystal clear!!" Donatello sang happily as we now somehow have some clouds in our hold causing me to chuckle a bit. We share a look as I throw the cloud I have over my shoulder-
"But now I'm in a whole new world with you~" Donatello sang as he gently threw the cloud in his hand up into the air.
"Now I'm in a whole new world!~-" "unbelievable sights~.." we sang a bit as I look forward, but we're flying next to birds. One of them squawked a bit shocked-
"Indescribable feeling!~" Donatello sang while holding his own arms out, so I smile at the sight of him having fun out of the castle like when we first met.
"Soaring, tumbling-" when Donatello said tumbling, Carpet decided to throw us up a bit causing me to hang onto Donatello out of fear. He chuckled as he held me close and we fell a bit before landing back onto Carpet, so nothing was really wrong.
"Freewheeling-
Through an endless diamond sky!" Donatello sang as he still held me close, so I nervously laugh and move out of his hold. Instead I just hold his hand so I wouldn't be so embarrassed-
"A whole new world!~" Donatello sang as we start to go down, but I smile at this before noticing he has his hand over his eyes out of fear.
"Don't you dare close your eyes!" I say as I move his other hand away from his face and we skimmed over the water softly.
"A hundred thousand things to see~" "Hold your breath it gets better~" We sang as we pass a guy trying to clean windows on this building.
"I'm like a shooting star!
I've come so far!.." Donatello sang as we wave towards the guy, he looks at us and his eyes widened at the sight of us. That also resulting in him dropping his cleaner as he also almost fell off of the platform he was on.
