27. Tears

"Louise's" p.o.v

I run my hands through my hair saying "they want me to be queen?" I slowly walk away from the railing that I was once leaning on. Leonardo and April pop out of the lamp as they're both looking happy- the biggest smile's are on their faces. "Hail the conquering hero!!" April says out loud before Leonardo makes himself a one-man band. Though I barely look back as I still just walk into the castle feeling so much fear about this. While still walking I notice they're both in front of me now as Leonardo says "Louisa, you have won the heart of the prince."

April then adds "what are you gonna do next?" Looking up at them I see they made their hands look like some type of frame. I shake my head as I just walk past them and towards the sitting pillow that's here and fall down onto it. Taking off my purse I set it by me as I just sigh, then the genies are both by me again as I lay here. "Psst, your line is supposed to be 'I'm going to free the genies'... anytime" Leonardo whispered a bit. Realization hit as I say "Leonardo, I can't.." April then says "sure you can!.. you just make the wish."

Leonardo chuckles saying "yeah, like this" then he starts moving my jaw up and down as he makes a weird voice along with it. "'Leonardo, I wish you both free'-" "I'm serious!" I say as I shove his hand away before standing up. My eyes feel like they're getting glossy as I say "I'm sorry, I really am.. but they wanna make me queen. Nooo- they wanna make Princess Louise queen!.." I finally look back at the two as a few tears fall. "Without you two.... I'm just Louisa" I finish my point, so April chuckles saying "Weeza, you won."

I roll my eyes softly saying "yeah, because of you! The only reason why I'm so important- is because of you two!!" More of my tears fall. Looking down I finally voice the rest of my thoughts out loud "what if they find out I'm not a princess?.. what if Donatello finds out?" I ask. I put my face in my hands as I say "I'd lose him... Leonardo, April - I can't keep this up on my own. I just can't wish you free" honestly out of guilt and fear I feel like I can't look at them right now. "Fine, we understand..." Leonardo says softly "after all, you lied to everyone else - I was starting to feel left out" April adds on.

'Ouch...' I think as I look up at them to see that they're about to go back into the lamp, they really look mad now. Leonardo looks like he's holding back tears too "now if you excuse us, master.." April says annoyed. With that they went into the lamp causing more of my tears to fall "Leonardo, April - I'm really sorry." Once the words left my mouth one of them basically just made a fart noise and their tongue was somehow out here for that. I flinch at that and just softly glare at the lamp saying "fine! Be childish then!! Just stay in there until you decide to be useful."

I hid the lamp under the pillow before yelling out "I bet that was even Leonardo!.. if that was April, then wow - I thought you could be mature." With that I cross my arms and glare at the pillow, but I notice Kitty and Carpet at the window. "What?" I ask as my tears still fall, they flinch before Kitty pouts a bit and Carpet just hid behind her. 'Great, just snapped at my best friend too' "Kitty, wait- I didn't mean it-" I fumble with what to say. She just walked away before I could even stand up to go and talk with her, so I sigh and hide my face again in my hands.

"Wow, talkin to yourself - going crazy knowing that you can become queen?" A voice asks, so I look over and see Raphael. I look back down saying "I guess you could say that..." he walks in and motions to the pillow next to me. "This seat taken?" He asks, so I shake my head and he sits down saying "ya know... I barely trust ya." "I did kinda come out of nowhere" I say a bit as I chuckle softly while wiping at my last tear. Raphael shakes his head saying "no, I mean because I know you're Louisa that we met at the market, shell-brain."

My eyes widened as I look at him, he was smirking before he put his hands behind his head saying "wow, you couldn't even hide it well. Louisa... Louise - you coulda been a bit smarter than that" I look down before trying to remember what I told Donatello. "I really am a princess, I just sometimes sneak out to avoid castle pressures" I say with a soft smile. Raphael scoffed saying "wow, now I've heard everythin - what a coincidence we met in the same way. Tell the truth, idiot - the guards know you as a street rat, they took you off and everythin."

This finally got me to look at him shocked, but Raphael was serious as he says "I dunno how ya made yourself look the part. I don't care to find out, but if this is all for Donnie... you have ta tell the truth" I sigh and nod once. "How long have you known?" I ask him confused, so he says "honestly?.. first day ya came as Louise. Now, ya wanna go tell Donnie or should I?" He stands up while offering me his hand, so I softly sigh. "I should be the one to tell him" I say as I accept his hand and he helps me up, but I grab my purse.

'Then I'd be able to let you two out' I think to myself as I set the purse over my shoulder again and we start walking out. A chill goes down my spine as we walk out 'does that mean we were being watched?' I think confused. "Wait, what made you think I was going crazy?" I ask Raphael confused basing off of what he said earlier. All he did was let out a small chuckle saying "because you said their names..." "who?" I ask confused. Raphael stopped and looks at me confused, so I stop so I'd be able to look him in the eye better.
