26. Queen?..

"Louise's" p.o.v

"Tell them the truth, Saki - you tried to have me killed!" I say while shoving him back a bit, he rolled his eyes before standing behind the king. He set his hands on his shoulders saying "what? Ridiculous nonsense, dear brother. She's obviously lying" Saki leaned into the king's view, but he says "obviously.. lying" that got me to look closer. "Father, what is wrong with you?!" Raphael yells out as I notice the eyes within the cane are red swirls. Before Saki or Karai notice what I'm looking at I grab the staff saying "I definitely know what's wrong."

Before I could be stopped I hit the head of the cane against the floor, the cane somehow emitted a bit of red light before it died down. The king then says "oh my..." he held his head a bit before I step up to him while still holding the cane. "Your majesty, Saki's been controlling you - with this!" I say while holding the cane for him to grab. Yoshi looked like his face went dead serious before he says "what?!" We look back at Saki to see him and Karai walking back. "Saki... you should be the one sentenced to beheading!!" The king yelled out angrily.

We're all just walking towards them as they're just slowly walking back away from us, Raphael quickly crackled his knuckles. 'Seems a bit dangerous for a guy who only has six fingers' I think as we kept walking towards the two. "Yoshi, all this can be explained-" "guards!" The king, Yoshi, yelled out as we still walk up to them. "Well, that's it - we're dead" Karai says as she keeps walking backwards by Saki's side. Honestly Saki looked a bit shocked at something, then he smirks before both him and Karai are grabbed by the guards.

"Arrest Saki at once!" Donatello yells out, but Karai struggled for a second before grabbing something out of her dress. She glares at me saying "this isn't over, girly!" My eyes widen as I try to run over to prevent this from happening. Though before I could get too close she threw the thing to the floor and black smoke emitted into the air. I cough a bit while taking steps back, everyone else except the guards coughed at the smoke too. Once it cleared out we look up to see the guards trying to strangle the other, probably thinking it was Saki or Karai they had.

Yoshi then yells out "find them! Search everywhere!!" I felt my eyes tearing up at the smell before I wipe at them a bit. A hand reached my shoulder as I look up to see Donatello with a soft expression on his face. "Are you okay?" He asks me, so I smile as I set my hand over his saying "as long as you're by me." We start to lean in, but Yoshi walked in-between us as he mumbled a few things to himself. Donatello and I had to take a step back away from the other as Raphael rolled his eyes.

Though he didn't say anything as I look back at Donatello and rest my hands on his shoulders and he rests his at my hips. "How will I ever-?.. wait, could it be? My son has finally found a suitor!?" Yoshi says happily. We look at him and I nervously laugh while putting some of my hair behind my ear, but Donatello nods with a smile. I look back up at him as I feel my face warm up a bit, his face turns a slight shade of pink too. Though Yoshi tore me away from Donatello as he picks me up while hugging me a bit tight.

"You brilliant, girl!! I could kiss you-.. that came out wrong, I'll leave that up to my son" Yoshi says while setting me down next to Donatello. Donatello softly facepalms saying "father!-" "you two will be wed at once!" Yoshi interrupted happily. I lean into Donatello's hold as Michelangelo fanboys a bit saying "you'll be happy, dudes! Louise, you'll be the queen." I look over at him saying "queen?" Yoshi nods saying "yes, a girl like you is what this kingdom needs." Realization started to sink in though with how far this entire lie is going just to be with Donatello.

No one's p.o.v

Karai and Saki run into their secret room and Saki leans against the door as he tries to realize what he's seen right by Louise's side. "We got to get out of here, father! I'll start packing first" Karai says as she runs around rapid. She threw a few weapons saying "I'll just carry around the easiest weapons to run around in. What about this picture? I feel like you're making a weird face" she held a framed picture of herself standing by Saki. Saki, on the other hand, just starts laughing while hitting the door a bit as he sounds like he could be crazy.

Karai rolls her eyes a bit saying "oh great, you finally lost it.." she walks towards him saying "father, father! Get a grip." She went to slap him, but he deathly gripped her wrist causing her to grunt in a bit of pain. "Good grip.." Karai says as she tries to tear her hand from his hold, but he isn't letting go right now. He glares forward saying "Princess Louise is nothing more than that wretched street rat, Louisa. She has the lamp, Karai" Karai ignored the pain in her wrist for a moment as anger settled in.

"Why that little-!" Karai was interrupted as Saki pulled her close as he glares her in the eye with a bit of a smirk on his face. "Karai, you will get it from her" Saki says with a bit of a smirk, so she raised a bit of an eyebrow. She tried not to laugh as she says "me?" Saki growled as he narrowed his eyes at her, so she nods saying "I'm on it, father." Meanwhile at the front of the castle is Louisa as she's leaning against the railing while looking at the flamingos. She was rethinking over everything up to the point where she is right now "queen?" She asks herself softly.
