34. Family Reunited

Louisa's p.o.v

I'm having to block my eyes from the light, but when it dies down there's a few thuds that happen in front of me. Looking forward I drop the lamp since it might as well be useless now that there's nothing in it. There before us stand Leonardo and April, they barely stand before April leans over and grabs the lamp. Her eyes got glossy as she says "we're back... we're actually back!" Leonardo grabs the lamp from her. He comes over to me and sets the lamp in my hands saying "quick! Wish for something outrageous."

That confused me a bit, but he adds on "uh- wish for the Nile, try it!!" "Uh.. I wish for the Nile-" "NO WAY!!" Leonardo yells in my face. I yelp as I take a few steps back, almost falling but I ended up falling into someone's hold. Looking up I see Donatello which made me smile softly as Leonardo and April cheer happily. Honestly once I was on my feet again Leonardo and April ran over to the royal family and they all hugged. I smile at the sight as they do their family hug, Kitty walks over to me before climbing onto my shoulder.

I smile softly at her before scratching under her chin, out of the entire family Raphael looks back at me and he frowns softly. Adjusting my glasses I just say "I'm gonna miss you guys" April was the one to say "us too, Weeza." Leonardo got out of the hug and walks towards me saying "no matter what you hear... you'll always be a princess to me." Then he hugs me, so I softly chuckle and hug back "that's right, you have proven your worth, Miss Louisa. The only thing in the way of your love is the law" we separate our hug as we look over at Yoshi.

"Father?" Donatello and Michelangelo ask a bit confused and shocked "I am king, aren't I?" Yoshi asks with a smile as he looks at Donatello. Then he says "from this day forth, the princes may marry whoever they deem as worthy." I smile at this and Donatello runs over to me as he picks me up saying "her!.. I choose you, Louisa." When he sets me back on my feet I set my hands on his shoulders as I say "you can call me Weeza too if you want." We start leaning in, but Leonardo and April say "aww!" April then says "group hug!!" Everyone came over.

Though Leonardo chuckles while looking at me saying "do you mind if I kiss the monkey?" We all move away from him hearing that. Leonardo still had Kitty in his hold though at that and actually gave her a kiss on the top of her head. Then he coughed a bit and out of his mouth came a furball as he says "ugh, furball." Michelangelo laughs a bit as Karai groans as she's waking up "what.. what happened?" She asks. Yoshi walks over to her saying "everything is okay, Miwa - you don't have to listen to Saki anymore."

I adjust my glasses saying "wait, I thought her name was Karai" Karai gasped saying "wait... father?!?" All of us were shocked at that. "'Father'?!" The rest of us yelled out, Donatello gags a bit saying "I kissed my sister!" Then he runs out. Raphael laughs as Leonardo mumbles something under his breath and with that we discuss what to do now. Carpet hugs me a bit too, so I chuckle a bit as I pat him on what I think is his back. "Let's go by the nicknames I thought for us, dudes!" Michelangelo says happily as he sets his hand on my shoulder.

Leonardo was confused "you thought of nicknames?" Raphael chuckles and sets his own hand on Leonardo's shoulder. "We have a lot of catching you up on, brother" was Raphael's response as Mikey actually got everyone to agree to his offer. Though even Leonardo is known as Leo as Donnie, Yoshi and I plan for the wedding tomorrow. We were talking in the meditation room when Leo walks in saying "wait, I have one last question." Donnie playfully rolls his eyes as I chuckle, but Yoshi motions for him to sit with us as he says "ask away, my son."

Leonardo sat down between Donnie and Yoshi saying "I thought the law was for the oldest to be wed by eighteen? Not the most responsible." Donnie nods saying "oh yeah, that changed after a bit of you being gone, Leo - Raph wasn't the best option for king. So father changed that law to the most responsible, which is me" Leo then says "well, I'm back now. I could live by that law so you two wouldn't have to rush so fast" I raise an eyebrow at him. "Uhhh... I dunno, Leo" I say unsure of that option, so he raised an eye-ridge at me.

"What's that supposed to mean?" He asks me, so I say "throughout my time of knowing you, you aren't the most responsible." Leo rolls his eyes softly saying "hey, I'm plenty responsible-" "Leo!!!" Mikey yells out. He runs in here with water balloons in a bucket "wanna pelt Raph with these balloons!?" Leo gasps. "Shell yeah, little brother!" Leo agrees and the two run out, so we chuckle as we still plan the wedding. There was going to be lanterns hanging, Kitty was gonna bring us our rings - April was my maid of honor.

Mikey was gonna be Donnie's best man while we have an actual worker to officiate it all as everything is a mix of purple or red. I couldn't wait until tomorrow "Leo was right, Louisa" Donnie says as he walked me to my room. "About what?" I ask before he stops in my doorway and pecks my forehead again with a warm smile. "You'll always be a princess to us, whether it be because we're getting married or because you have shown how amazing you can be as one." I chuckle softly and adjust my glasses nervously "I'll see you tomorrow, my prince" "see you then, m'lady."
