22. Be Yourself

"Louise's" p.o.v

This got me to scoff as I say "that's the last thing I wanna be" I say as I hard swallow, I take a small step back while looking down. Looking back up at them I smile softly saying "okay, I'm gonna go and try to talk with him. I just.. gotta be smooth and not stumble over my words cor combine-.. or combine them." Leonardo chuckled a bit at my mistake as April softly elbows him, so I softly facepalm at myself. I comb through my hair to make sure I still look good before looking at the two with a smile.

Leonardo sighs softly as he puts his hands over his face and April set a hand on his shoulder as she smiles softly "like a princess" she answers. With that I got on Carpet and we fly up towards her balcony, though he was in his room. I can hear he was talking to someone, but I didn't bother to listen in as a just in case he'd be mad at that too. "Prince Donatello?" I ask softly as I jump onto the railing of his balcony while looking inside. It was hard to really see into his room since there was these chinese looking dividers at the entrance to his room.

Donatello then asks "who's there?" I smile as I jump onto the balcony saying "it's me, Princess Louise-" I realize I was sounding like myself. I clear my throat before sounding like how I made Louise out to be as I hold my hands behind my back. "Princess Louise.. Penumbra" I say as I stand straight with a smile, Donatello walks out while moving the divider. Though he glares at me saying "I don't want to see you" then he closed the divider again. I felt a bit of fear as I say "no no, please - Prince, give me a chance" I tried to walk towards him.

Though a giant turtle creature moved the dividers as he glares at me while growling, so I stumble back at the sight of him. "Just leave me alone!" Donatello says again as my focus was more on the turtle here before me. I nervously laugh saying "down, big guy!" 'Never have I ever had so much fear...' I think scared. I tried to wave him off with my purse, but that's when I hear Donatello walking back out here. "Wait, do I... know you?" He asks as he walks out, so I straighten up as I stand on the balcony.

Once he walked out the giant turtle walked away from me, so I shake my head a bit saying "uh, no.. no" Raphael emerged from the room now too. He narrowed his eyes at me as he says "hey, yeah - ya remind me of someone we met in the marketplace." I nervously chuckle at that saying "marketplace?" I hear some buzzing near my ear as I use my hair to whip it away. Then I hold my hands behind my back again as I say "I have servants who go to the marketplace for me." The giant turtle is standing by Raphael's side as he pet his head a bit to calm him down.

The buzzing was getting closer as I still tried to swat it away, just thinking it was a fly or something that's here for some reason. "I mean, I have servants who go to that place for my servants... I doubt we'd meet there." Donatello sighs as he leans against the giant turtle sighing a bit saying "no, I guess not." "Enough about you, Queen" a buzzing voice says to me, so I look at what's buzzing by my head confused. There flies April as she has her little arms crossed, but Leonardo got my attention next.

"Talk about him! He's smart, fun! His smile, the eyes- anything" Leonardo says while crossing his arms too causing April to finish with "pick a feature." I clear my throat to get their attention as I say "Prince Donatello, you're very..." I try to think of a good word. Both of the two genies by me start trying to help, but it's just starting to annoy me as they're messing with my head. "Wonderful!" "Magnificent!" "Glorious!" "Punctual!!" They finish together and I repeated the last one for some reason. "Punctual" I say and realization hit inside my head as I realize how stupid I must have sounded with that description.

Raphael starts laughing as Donatello looks at me saying "'punctual'??" "Sorry..." both genies mumble as I try to think on what to say. "Uh- handsome!" I say as a cover up for what I actually said at first since that was very stupid. Leonardo then says "nice recovery" as April softly facepalms at my words and sighs. Donatello nods softly saying "I'm rich too, ya know" then he stops leaning on the turtle and walks towards me. Honestly the smile he has on his face felt like it drew me in and my brain shut off at the sight of how he looks.

Words spilled out without me thinking "yeah..." he kept walking towards me with that smile "the son of a king" he adds on. I put some of my hair behind my ear as I say "I know..." he finally got close before towering over me. "A fine prize for any princess to marry" he says as he lifts up my chin to look him in the eye better. From how close we are I blushed a bit and try not to nervously laugh as I say "u-uh, right! A princess like me." "Louisa!" April softly buzzed in my ear as I look at her, then back up at Donatello as he's still smiling.

Then he says "right.. a princess like you" then he booped my nose causing me to go cross eyed for a second before he glares at me. "And every other puffy dressed, prissy, peacock I've ever met!" Donatello says before poking my forehead annoyed. I shake my head a bit as he walks away from me, but I realized that was basically a trap. "Wait-" "just jump off the balcony, Missy" Raphael says over his shoulder before walking after his brother. The giant turtle still glared at me as he starts growling again, so I say "what?.." Leonardo shakes his head as he's still a bee.
