"Damien, we've got to go now." I heard some one say, making Damien stop sucking at my neck. My eyes were glazed over as I stared at the ceiling, lifelessly in shock. They've turned me into a juice box, I found myself joking in such a terrible circumstance.
Damien groaned before letting go of my body. I felt dizzy and lifeless as he shoved me away from him as if I was rag doll.
He got up with a frustrated look on his face before walking out the door I was going to use for my escape.
My gut wrenched with fear, and I was left alone in the cold room.
Alone. I felt so alone and lost. My neck bled out onto the concrete floors, staining it.
I heard distant footsteps as my vision grew hazy. I clutched the bloody teddy bear my father gave close to my body, and curled up into a fetal position. I was frozen with shock. Small hiccups filled the room, because my body was responding to the loss of blood.
"We found her your highness." I could hear distant voices.
My limbs were heavy from blood loss, and my breathing came out uneven. Sturdy arms lifted me off the ground as I let myself fade away into the darkness.

I awoke with a start, gasping for breath. It had to be a dream right?
"It's just a really bad dream." I whispered trying to convince myself.
I slipped out from under the deep blue sheets to see that I was still in the red ball gown.
My heart rate increased as panic settled over me. It wasn't a dream. My father was actually dead. I scanned the room cautiously. I spotted the teddy bear Father gave, which was now clean, sitting on a table besides the bed.
I grabbed the teddy bear and held it tightly in between my fingers. It was real. He was dead. Tears slipped down my cheeks. I refused to believe it, but it was true. The man who came to see me everyday, kiss me goodnight and play with me as a child was gone. The man who protected me for my whole entire life was gone.
"No." I choked out a sob.
Who was Damien? Why was Damien looking for someone? Why did my Father die?
Questions were overwhelming my mind. Truthfully, I was petrified. Scared for my life. Strangers had just taken my father's life, and they are after me as well. What happens if it is someone else next time? What if its another person I love?
I couldn't hear the door open as I concentrated deeply on my thoughts.
"Lady Ambrose?" I heard a gentle voice say snapping me out of my terrorized state.
I flipped my head around, rapidly wiping my tears, meeting the eyes of a petite elderly woman.
"Lady, thank goodness you're awake. You've been asleep for two days straight." The woman said opening the curtains, letting in a bright stream of light, before disappearing into the bathroom.
I couldn't even process what the woman said. My mind was somewhere else. Silent tears streamed down my face.
"Lady, I've run a bath for you." The lady paused seeing my tears, and she set down the towels in her hands.
She turned to me, "Aww, come here darling." She cooed before enveloping me in a hug. I buried my face deep in her comforting, motherly arms. Soft sobs escaped my lips.
"Come on, let's get you in the bath." The woman said.

I eased into the warm water of the tub. The water was slightly tinged pink.
