Welcome to some comic relief
Adeline's POV

"Adeline Zoe Victoria Ambrose! Open the door or I'm going to knock the door down!" Gabriel yelled from outside my room. He pounded his fists repeatedly on the gold-painted door that was handcrafted in Russia.

It's been a few days since I was brought out of the dungeons, and I was certainly not happy. The drugs the doctors provide me have been making me feel giddy. There's also the injection the doctor makes me take, which hurts like hell by the way.

I sat on my bed with my arms crossed as I eyed the locked door before me. Gabriel is bad. He put me in the dungeon. The maids in the castle had tried to get me to take the medicine which the doctors gave me, but I shut them out of the room. I did not like needles and I certainly did not like the medicine. Now, Gabriel was at the door, trying to get me to open it so I can take my medicine.

"Addie open the door!" Gabriel's voice was threateningly low.

"I'm going to count to five. If you do not open this door by then, I will rip the door apart myself."

My eyes widened. I knew not to underestimate Gabriel . He keeps his word. The cell was enough of a lesson.

"1."

I slipped off the bed as a mad war cry escaped my lips.

"2."

I ran towards the door.

"3."

I pushed my body against the door and pushed down with all my might, trying to keep it shut.

"4."

It was a useless attempt, but it was worth the try.

"5."

A scream escaped my lips as I prepared for what was to come.

"Adeline, I didn't touch the door yet." Gabriel said.

Nope. Screw the plan of holding down the door. I ran towards the bathroom.

Chunks of the wooden door flew across the room.

"The front line has been breached." I screamed and ran to the bathroom.

Yep, it's definitely the drugs.

I latched my hand around the bathroom handle as I prepared to lock myself in it.

Gabriel grabbed the handle from the other side and began to pull.

"NOOOO!" I hollered.

I wrapped my hands around the doorknob and hoisted my whole body into the air as I tried to close the door.

Gabriel swung the door open with ease to see me dangling from the doorknob.

"Hi?" I squeaked.

I let go of the handle and fell on my butt.

"Owie!" I yelled.

"Adeline." Gabriel looked quite angry. His jaw was clenched as he looked at me with a glare. He didn't really seem like he was in the mood to deal with me.

"Ugh. My butt. My butt hurts. I shouldn't have done that. Ow!" I groaned.

I looked up to see fragments of the wooden door lying around the room.

"Hey! Why did you break the door? I really liked it!"

"We can get a better one." He said angrily.

I only like that door.

"I'm still not talking to you until you apologize for putting me in the cell." I crossed my arms over my chest.

"I'm sorry." Gabriel said quite reluctantly. He needed me to take the medicine the doctor prescribed, and the only way to get me to consider was to befriend a high version of myself.

"Apology not accepted."

"I'll give you gummy bears." He said lowly, yet clearly annoyed. I've been asking him for gummy bears, and hearing that he might grant my wish, it made me happy.

"Ooh! Apology accepted! Gimme! Gimme! I want some!"

I was already on a really bad sugar rush. I somehow got the friendly servants to get me cotton candy. I don't think cotton candy and the recovery drugs mix well.

"If you want gummy bears you have to take the medicine the doctor gave you." Gabriel said referring to the needle.

"No. I don't want it. The medicine hurts." I frowned.

Gabriel picked me up and plopped me on the bed, so that I was sitting.

"Adeline, you need to take your medicine." Gabriel said, gritting his teeth. He was becoming frustrated with me.

Gabriel disappeared. I sat there awkwardly on the bed, waiting for him to return.

"High, all the time, to keep you out my-" I began to sing only to see that Gabriel returned with the needle. When I saw it, I immediately began to panic.

"No!" I yelled.  I pushed Gabriel away from me. He dropped the needle causing it to break and the liquid to flow out. I jumped of the bed and ran behind a couch to hide myself.

I watched Gabriel observantly. First, he looked at me with a hard glare, and then took a sniff of the air.

He reached out for the substance, hissing painfully when he touched it.

"There's something wrong about this. There small mixes of silver in here, and I'm not sure what the purple liquid is."

This is probably the worlds shortest chapter on Earth. Please keep reading, I promise it will only get interesting from here. This chapter was a little more crazy and happy! Don't forget to VOTE and COMMENT! Lol, excuse the fact that she is high.
