...
Monoma kept his eyes on the ground as he walked over to his seat, unable to stare at Bakugo.
He had put Bakugo's state as his fault, all because he didn't report Midoriya when he felt something was off.Ms.joke was quick to pick up on the guilt he was radiating and decided she'd speak with him after class.
During class hardly anyone was able to pay attention, their attention was focused around Bakugo.
"It's time I bring up a really important topic so you all need to listen.
You all passed and received your hero license, and with a hero license you're all allowed to act as heroes.Which brings up what this is about.
You're all going to intern with big time heroes and gain real life experience.
I'll explain how this works. You all will look at numerous hero agencies, you'll self select which agency you want to go to and ask to intern.
If you're accepted then great job, you now have a job. If you aren't then don't be gloomy, you still have thousands of options.Since these work agencies will be real jobs there's a good chance you won't be in school for a good amount of time.
If enough of you are out we obviously won't be doing any lessons, however those days when enough of you are here will have lessons. So you're expected to catch up on what you've missed.
But of course, I won't be moving through units so fast. I'm not going to just leave you all behind, especially when the reason for your absence is helping people for the greater good. Now that I've explained this, you can look to the other hero course students for help. Whether that's the upper grades or people within your grade.
Good luck!
You're all dismissed"
Ms. Joke smiled as she went to stand by the door.As the class walked past her, she grabbed Monoma and kept him aside as everyone else left.
He stood confused, but unable to look her in the eye.Once everyone left she shut the door and turned to face him.
"Are you okay...?
I noticed you haven't been able to pay attention and there's guilt shrouding your face...
I'm concerned..."
Her gaze switched to that of a concerned mother as she awaited a response from Monoma. He turned his head aside, his hair covering his eyes as he stared at the ground clenching his jaw.
He looked to be struggling holding back tears, unable to look at his Sensei."Monoma...?"
She repeated."You don't get it..." He forced out as obvious tears hit the ground, he couldn't take it anymore.
Her eyes slightly widened, this was the first time she had ever seen this side of him. He had always been gloomy and silent for the first couple days she met him, infact it was the first time she even heard him speak. But this was out of the expected.
"I don't get what, Monoma...?"
"..i-its all my f-fault... If I had just...-
If...
If I s-spoke sooner...""Whats your fault?"
"Dang it" he forced himself to look up at her, his hair moved out of the way to reveal his guilt struck eyes.
"It's my fault Bakugo e-ended up this way!" He shouted, releasing some of his pent up despair."How so? Monoma, everything that happened was entirely the League's, The Silencer's, fault. You have nothing to do with how Bakugo is"
"B-but I do!
If I h-had spoken sooner...
The m-moment I felt s-something was off!
We w-would've been able to c-catch Midoriya! Bakugo wouldn't be the way he is!" He screamed some more, his voice cracked a bit.
