It was another day at your Uncle Larry's house. Well it was only your second but it felt like weeks. You had just moved in with him and his girlfriend Xandra after your parents were in an accident. As far as you could tell, Xandra was a total bitch. Yesterday all she did was stare at you and give you some rather rude looks. I mean you couldn't blame her. Who the hell wants some random teenager invading her life? Definitely not Xandra.

You come downstairs to maybe get some breakfast only to find Larry was gone. He had said he was almost always working so you weren't really surprised. You grab a glass from the cabinet and catch a glimpse of Xandra outside sunbathing at the pool. You couldn't help but feel a pang of jealousy in your stomach. Her body was so perfect. Her toned abs, thin legs, exposed ribs, exposed hip bones. The way her body gracefully laid on the chair with a cigarette between her slender fingers.

A few seconds later, she sees you staring at her through the screen of the window. You jump and go back to getting yourself some water. That's when you suddenly hear her deep voice.

"Hey y/n! Come out here!"

You close your eyes and sigh as you quickly walk to the sliding glass door and open it.

"Yeah?"

"Come out here." She says in a more welcoming tone. You slip out the door and walk to her, nervously.

"What's up?"

"You wanna tan with me? You're white as a sheep. I guess that's what happens in winters in New York huh?" She says looking over at you, tapping the tip of her cigarette, letting the ash fall into the ash tray beside her.

"Uhm no thanks I don't have a bathing suit."

"That's okay you can borrow one of mine."

"Oh- I don't know if they'd... fit."

"What're you calling me fat?" She jokes.

"No! No of course not. You're literally perfect- I just- they'd probably be too small..."

"y/n I don't think so." She said confused. "Come on let's go inside. I definitely have something." She got up and walked towards you, placing a hand on your back, leading you into the house. She brought you upstairs to her room and opened a drawer, rummaging through some bathing suits.

You stood there, shifting on your feet, fumbling with your fingers awkwardly. "Oh here we go!" Xandra said with a grin. She holds up a two piece, lilac bathing suit. It was really thin.

"Do you have anything...less... revealing?"

"Do you want fucked up tan lines?"

"Well...no."

"Then here. You'll look amazing in this. You have like the perfect body for it trust me." Xandra tosses the bathing suit to you and goes to the door.

"O-okay."

"I'll be outside."

"Okay. Thanks Xandra."

"No problem baby." She replied with a wink. You felt your cheeks get hot as you bit your bottom lip. You started getting changed into the swim suit and Xandra was right. It fit just fine. You took a deep breath as you walked to the full length mirror.

You felt like you were just looking at some fat girl you didn't even know. You tried holding back tears. It's like you were blinded by your own thoughts as you didn't even notice that your ribs were exposed, thighs barely touched, and you could see your hip bones through the bottoms.

Despite how insecure you felt, you went downstairs and back outside with Xandra. You opened the sliding glass door once again and she turns around, raising her sunglasses.

"Damn y/n."

"What?"

"I told you you'd look amazing." She said with a smirk.

Your cheeks flushed a bright crimson color as you covered your stomach with your arms and walked over to the chair beside her. You sat down and laid back, closing your eyes, letting the sun warm your body.

"Seriously y/n. You're really beautiful."

"Thanks Xandra. So are you."

"Oh shut up." She replies, going back to her cigarette chuckling.
