There's a train out in the distance, destination still unknown
Far away where no one's waiting, so far from home, so far from home

"Yeah, open that. Okay, no, no, no."

While he explored the front, I checked out the screens on the other side. I grunted at the selection of spider suits. "I scrapped that design. I don't know why it's on the system!"

He pushed his arm through a digital arm, obtaining control of the web-shooters. We realized Happy was... happily staring at us. That's weird. Although his name's Happy, he never smiles at anything we do. "What?"

He waved us off. "Nothing. You take care of the suit. I'll take care of the music."

Rock music erupted loudly from the speakers. I've heard this song before, but I'm not sure who's is from. "Oh, I love Led Zeppelin!"

Hmm... I thought it was Bon Jovi. Anyways, Peter went first. "Okay, can you pull up my web-shooters? Isolate the taser webs, and reconfigure and boost the voltage to a factor of 25%, and give me complete manual control over detonation."

I let him do the work, chiming only in case he needed help or to throw in a random suggestion. I crossed my arms, saying: "Wanna make this interesting?"

He spun the spider design that would later rest on his back. "Listening."

I licked my lips, suppressing a mischievous smile. "I dare you to change the blue of your suit to black."

"Why?" he pondered while confirming the spider's position on the screen.

"Because black looks good on you... and we'd be sort of matching."

He grinned, a more evil idea sparkling in his head. "Fine. A black and red spider suit. Only, and only if... you add the blue to yours."

I tilted my head in confusion. "Then we wouldn't be matching."

"But then you'd have a piece of me."

Smooth, Parker, smooth. "Blue it is." I talked with my AI while he finished choosing. "Hey, (C/n), do we have anything for more precise shots with my light powers?"

"We could install control rods inside your finger gloves. Also, out of the weapons you mentioned, I'd recommend using daggers so you spare energy."

"Perfect. We'll magnetize the bullets on my left and switch the ones on my right to prototype 5-Foxtrot. "

We sent Peter's suit for printing, meaning it was my turn. I quickly mix-matched options, mostly drawing inspiration from my original design and not Iron Bee. I decided to add the blue details on the back of the corset. "Get it? They're supposed to be wings!" I joked. He just rolled his eyes and laughed.

Peter insisted on making it with extra protection on the front so my wound could properly heal. "I'm serious, (Y/n). You can die. I'm honestly shocked you're still standing right now."

"It's the power of friendship," I nonchalantly added.

He snapped his fingers in deep thought. "Oh. That reminds me. Ned says hi."

"Ned! I miss him so much! How is he?"

"Well, for starters, he has a girlfriend," he said like the wingman he is.

I squealed in excitement. "Who's the lucky one?"

"Betty."

My jaw dropped. "THE Betty Brant? No way!" Out of all the possibilities, I never imagined them as a couple. He seems so chill and she's usually so uptight. I don't think I've even heard them talking together, but good for him! "We could go on a double da— oh."
