I have a problem that I cannot explain...
I know, how I feel when I'm around you"What is happening?" Peter sighed into his hands.
We were waiting for news from our lawyers in his apartment. People were going crazy in the news and outside both of our homes, so we had to keep a low profile and just wait for the good news in the legal manner.
"Hey. We're gonna get through this. We always do, right? This isn't any different." I grabbed his hand and squeezed it. Although I could feel my soul ready to leap out of my corpse at the moment they said we were screwed.
Peter's lawyer, Matt Murdock, sat at the table after firmly placing his cane. "Well, I have some good news, Peter and (Y/n). I don't believe any of the charges against you are gonna stick."
"Wait, seriously?" Peter beamed.
"I knew it."
I slapped the table in excitement. "Told ya."
"Oh my god, Mr. Murdock. Thank you."
"Thank you," May cheered.
"That's amazing."
"You're welcome. However..." he turned towards Happy. "Mr. Hogan."
"Yes?" he hesitated.
"The feds are actively investigating that missing technology. I, uh, I understand your loyalty to Mr. Stark and his legacy, but if you were involved—"
"If I was involved?"
"I'd advice securing a lawyer."
"I need a lawyer because I'm, because I'm... I thought you said... he would... no charges..." Happy began stuttering as he tried to come up with an excuse on the spot. "I-I could say 'under advisement of council, uh, I refuse to answer the question, respectfully, because I... the answer could incriminate me...' It's the thing they say in Goodfellas. Why do they say in Goodfellas?"
I looked at Peter, who was just shaking his head to the sides profusely.
May leaned in towards her ex-lover. Ew, that sound wrong to say. I'll just stick to calling him Happy. "I-I know that's what you think. Calm down. Let's hear what he has to say. Matt?"
"You're gonna need a really good lawyer." Matt shifted in his seat as he continued explaining the issue. "Guys, you may have dodged your legal troubles, but things will get much worse. There is still a court of public opinion."
Suddenly, an object broke the window, shooting a fucking brick straight toward my boyfriend's face. The guy from outside shouted: "Mysterio forever!"
We all stayed stunned at the fact that our lawyer (our blind lawyer, might I add) caught the brick effortlessly. "How did you just do that?" Peter asked as his tingle had done the exact same movement milliseconds later.
"...I'm a really good lawyer."
I read the note pasted against the object in question. 'We beleive Mysterio'. Rolling my eyes, I pushed the brick further from me. "They don't even know how to spell correctly."
"We're gonna need a safer place to live," May concluded.

Thank god for Happy's remaining crush on May. Otherwise, she and my boyfriend wouldn't have a proper place to stay. My place and my AI weren't comparable with Happy's top-notch security system.
The alarm blared, damaging our eardrums for a moment. "Alarm system deactivated."
"This looks nice and... safe," she announced.
