Chapter 30

"We decided that Chad should take that time-passing dinosaur juice and then the wedding will be saved" said Calvin.

The Wiggles were a little uneasy about this idea.

"What's wrong?" said Calvin.

"Kids,  we're not sure Chad is ready for that juice" said Jeff.

"Well, we kinda bombed out on rescheduling the wedding and we're starting to run out of options here" said Charles Wallace.

"Yes, we know, Charles. But this is serious" said Anthony.

"Yeah. Are you sure you kids know what you're doing to him?" said Murray.

"No, not really. But Sam certainly seems to" said Calvin.

"Okay. But we still think this is a bad idea" said Greg.

Pretty soon, Sam was back with the juice.

"You sure this is gonna work, Sam? The Wiggles implied that it's dangerous" said Calvin.

"Sure I'm sure. It worked before" said Sam.

"We know it worked before, but we're using it on a different person" said Charles Wallace.

"Trust me. It'll work" said Sam.

"I hope you're right" said Calvin.

"Have I ever been wrong?" said Sam.

"Well..." said Charles Wallace. 

"Okay, maybe sometimes. But I promise I'm not wrong about this" said Sam.

The kids took the drink to Chad.

"This is the drink that's gonna save his wedding?" said Jeremy.

"Yup. Chad... you've never taken this, so I'll have you know. From what I gather, it doesn't taste very good" said Sam.

Jeremy looked at the juice. 

"Ugh! You're not kidding. Dinosaur juice. Sounds gross, looks gross, smells gross" he said.

"It's definitely gonna taste gross" said Charles Wallace.

"But it's gonna work" said Calvin.

"I hope so, kids. I'm kinda tired of being big and uncomfortable" said Chad.

"Yeah... guys? He's three months along but he looks like six months" Charles Wallace whispered.

"I hope this isn't a second dose" said Sam.

"I don't think it is" said Chad bluntly.

Then he drank the juice.

"Oh, this is disgusting!" he grunted.

"Sam told you it'd taste gross" said Meg.

"Gross is an understatement, sweet" Chad gagged.

"Do dinosaurs really tolerate this stuff?" said Jeremy.

"Yeah. Now... it takes a few hours to work so bear with it" said Sam.

"Thanks, kids" said Chad.

"Well, it's the least we could do" said Sam.

"How long will this pregnancy be sped up by, exactly?" said Chad.

"Just a day" said Sam.

"Oh, blimey..." said Chad nervously. 

"Don't worry. I'll be right here" said Meg.
