Chapter 27

Three months went by.

The wedding planning was moving like clockwork. It was almost all planned out.

Meg was home from work. 

But Chad was starting to look big now that he was three months along.

He looked at his belly and said "Oh no, not now".

Chad went to where Meg was and said "Meg, we've got a problem".

"I see that" said Meg.

Chad rubbed his belly and said "What am I going to do? We're getting married in a couple of months. I can't get married looking like this".

Meg grabbed his shoulders and said "Don't worry. I'll think of something".

Then she leaned down to kiss Chad's belly. 

Chad smiled and said "I guess I can live in the moment for now".

"Good. I'll go talk to the Wiggles about rescheduling the wedding" said Meg.

"Rescheduling it?" said Chad. 

"Yeah. It seems like our best option, honey" said Meg.

Then she left. 

Jeremy decided to go check in on Chad, so he knocked three times.

"Chad?" he said in between knocks.

Chad answered the door and said "Hey, Jeremy".

"Hey, lad. How are you?" said Jeremy.

"Pregnant" Chad joked.

Jeremy laughed and said "Yeah. I see that".

"Where did my life go, Jeremy? One minute, I'm performing with you and getting into Actorville. The next minute, I'm engaged and pregnant" said Chad.

"I don't know what to tell you, lad" said Jeremy.

"And now Meg is talking to the Wiggles about rescheduling the wedding" said Chad.

In Wigglehouse...

"We cannot reschedule your wedding, Meg" said Jeff.

"But, Wiggles, Chad is three months along and he's already putting on a little weight" said Meg.

"We understand, lovely, but that wedding is your big day. We can't wait as long as nine months" said Anthony.

"I guess not" said Meg.

"We're sorry, Meg. And Calvin told us that reception schedules are backed up" said Murray.

"So we really can't reschedule" said Greg.

Meg nodded. 

Then she went home to tell Chad the bad news.
