Chapter 35

When Meg was finished with this surgery, she approached her bosses.

"Please let me go. I need to help Chad. Sam said he's in labor" she said.

"Meg, you cannot leave your post. Remember when we fired you?" said Mrs Which.

"I have to!" Meg snapped.

"Mrs Which, she must. Mrs Who and I can take over from here" said Mrs Whatsit.

"Oh, very well. This was our doing" said Mrs Which.

"Yeah, it sure was. Thank you so much" said Meg.

She fled the hospital. But she didn't have any pixie dust so she had to run for it.

At home...

"Go; keep going! Keep going! You're doing so awesome! This is amazing!" Sam encouraged.

"Oh my god! Oh my god..." Calvin panted.

"This really hurts!" Chad sobbed.

"You got this, Chad buddy!" said Charles Wallace.

"Okay, push! Push!" Calvin encouraged.

"You're doing awesome! You're doing so awesome!" Sam shouted.

"One more, buddy!" said Charles Wallace.

"Yes yes yes yes yes!" Sam panted.

"Ow!" Chad screamed.

"I see the shoulders! Oh my god!" Calvin shouted.

"Sweet! You're doing great!" said Charles Wallace.

"Come on, Chad. Take us home. Take us home!" Sam encouraged. 

"Just one more push!" said Calvin as he put on some latex gloves.

Chad pushed one more time and his baby was finally born.

"That's it! Charles Wallace, gimme the scissors; quick!" said Calvin.

Charles Wallace handed Calvin the scissors and he cut the baby's cord. 

"That's it! It's here. It's here" Sam laughed.

Chad was crying happy tears when Calvin handed him his baby.

"Oh my gawrsh..." Sam sighed.

The baby was grabbing at Chad's face with its tiny little hands.

"Gender? Huh?" said Charles Wallace.

"I saw. We got a daughter here" said Calvin.

"Oh my god. She's so happy" said Sam.
