Chapter 31

The next day was going to be a pretty big one.

Chad was now heavily pregnant thanks to the time-passing juice.

Meg wished she could stay and help him out, but she had to work.

Jeremy decided to check in on his incapacitated bandmate.

"How you feeling, Chad the lad?" he said.

"That stuff really works. I feel really weird" said Chad.

"Yeah. You actually seem like you're gonna have this baby soon" said Jeremy.

"I probably am. Just look at me" said Chad rubbing his pregnant belly.

"The kids said you would tomorrow" said Jeremy.

"All they said was the juice shortens pregnancy to only a day more. So now it's tomorrow in that time" said Chad.

"Oh, blimey. I think it might be a good idea to get the kids just in case" said Jeremy.

"I dunno. I think I'm okay" said Chad.

"Are you sure?" said Jeremy.

Chad was suddenly in a lot of pain. He was grabbing at his sides and he said "No!".

"I'll go find the kids" said Jeremy.

He went to Wigglehouse and knocked on Sam's door.

"Sam?" he said.

He was only able to knock once because Sam knocked back and said "Jeremy?".

Jeremy tried again. 

"Sam?" he said.

Sam knocked back again.

"Jeremy?" she said.

Knock knock knock. "Sam?"

Knock knock knock. "Jeremy?"

Knock knock knock. "Sam?"

Knock knock knock. "Jeremy?"

Knock knock knock. "Sam?"

Knock knock knock. "Jeremy?"

Knock knock knock. "Sam!"

Sam finally answered the door with a sassy grin on her face.

"What do you want?" she said.

"I want you and Cal and Charles to go to the apartment building. I think Chad's in labor" said Jeremy.

"Gawrsh! You get right back to him. I'll go find the guys" said Sam.

"Thanks" said Jeremy.

He went back to Chad's apartment.

"Well?" said Chad.

"They're on their way. Until they get here, I'm gonna get Meg on the phone" said Jeremy.

"No. She told me she has a complicated surgery to attend to." said Chad.

"I know, lad, but you need a surgeon." said Jeremy.

"The kids are on their way, you said. I'll be fine" said Chad.

"That is not fine" said Jeremy.

Chad didn't feel great either. He felt an extreme pain now.

"Oh, blimey! My waters have broken" Chad cried.
