"Emergency services are so lazy today. I can't get through to any of them!" Calvin grunted in frustration.

"Jeremy? Any luck?" said Charles Wallace.

"Not yet. I think we're still in the weak labor phase" said Jeremy.

"Keep on it, J dawg" said Sam.

"Got it" said Jeremy.

"Maybe our best choice now is to help Chad alone" said Charles Wallace.

"Yeah... we do have our experience" said Sam.

"Can we not be daft right now? We have to get Chad to a hospital. We're obviously out of our right minds endangering him and his baby. I say we just pixie dust him and force Meg out of it" said Calvin.

"Cal, he is terrified. Scaring him more is the last thing the Warriors ever want" said Sam.

"Yeah. And we never wanna stress Meg out. Like ever!" said Charles Wallace.

"Uh-huh. We just need to keep Chad calm and maybe deliver the baby. It's no big deal" said Sam.

"Yeah, it happened to you, Cal" said Charles Wallace.

"But you guys weren't the ones helping me. Meg was" said Calvin.

"Well, Sam helped Murray through his fourth pregnancy" said Charles Wallace.

"Okay, my point is... just because this happened to me and Sam delivered one baby does not mean we know how to do this" said Calvin.

"We'll figure it out. We're warriors" said Sam.

"Okay. Maybe we should say our oath before doing something like this" said Calvin.

"Not a bad idea. We really haven't done this before" said Sam.

The kids said their oath one more time.

Calvin: Any time

Charles Wallace: Any place

Sam: The Three Warriors

All: Are on the case!

Sam then hurried to where Chad was. He was laying on the floor with his knees up.

"So. How we doing in here?" said Sam.

"I'm pretty sure I'm having a baby" Chad strained.

"Great" said Sam as enthusiastically as she could.

She turned to Jeremy and said "Hey, J dawg? You might wanna leave this to us".

"Of course" said Jeremy.

Charles Wallace and Calvin came in and Jeremy left.

"Sam?" said Chad.

"Yeah?" said Sam.

"Can you see... how far I'm dilated?" said Chad.

"Oh, gawrsh! I see the head!" Sam snapped.

"Oh dear!" Chad sobbed in pain.

"Okay... Charles Wallace, you're on first aid kit duty. Sam, you take care of encouragement. I'll keep track on the dilation" said Calvin.

"I will be okay, won't I?" Chad cried.

"Have we ever let you down?" said Sam.

"No" said Chad.

"No. Okay. All we need you to do is take Sam's hand and keep breathing. You can do that right?" said Charles Wallace.

"Okay" Chad panted.

"Okay. Sam. Hand. Now!" said Calvin.

"Oh! Right" said Sam taking Chad's hand.

Chad let out another painful cry as he had another contraction.

"Ow!" he sobbed.

"Chad. Your body doesn't wanna wait for Meg. It wants to have this baby now. So we're just gonna do what it tells us" said Sam.

Chad screamed in pain again and the kids took it as an agreement.

"Ow! Blimey!" Chad screamed as he pushed.

"That's good. That's good!" Sam encouraged.
