I sat in my office with my legs up on the window sill. A steaming cup of coffee was in my hands, steam rising ever so steadily. Outside HQ, the white snow fell at an unwavering pace. The pine trees were coated in the cold substance, creating a beautiful scene of Trost District in the winter. The brick fireplace burned incessantly, crackling and creating a warm aura within the office. Most of the Scouts were back at the barracks. Only a few people remained in the building. My record player played some Dean Martin songs, which made me feel relaxed and nostalgic.

I sipped my coffee and tried to picture what Erwin could be doing right now. Probably paperwork, what a workaholic. Promptly, I decided to pay him a visit. I stood up, not bothering to put my tan uniform jacket on, and exited my office.

As I opened the door, I winced as I crashed into a firm yet soft surface. I looked up with furrowed brows, but my expression quickly changed when I saw the bright blue eyes of Erwin.

"Oh, my apologies L/N." He deeply chuckled. I laughed nervously and quickly saluted him.

"It's okay sir." He wasn't wearing his uniform jacket either, the ODM belts on his chest were pressing against his white dress shirt. He always wore a white dress shirt, in fact, it made me wonder if he owned any other color. I owned four different colors, I wore a blue one now just to match with the holiday season. But that's irrelevant, I realized when I noticed how long I had just been staring up at Erwin.

"Sorry...uh, would you like to come in?" I stepped aside to let him inside my office. He came in, looking around for a few seconds as I closed the door.

"I think Levi would be proud with how clean your office is." Erwin complimented with a genuine smile, something that was rarely seen on his face. I was proud to be one of the three people that could make him smile like that.

"No, he says it 'could be cleaner.' Whatever that means." I replied as I picked my coffee cup back up and began to slowly sip from it. I took notice of how he eyed the coffee maker in the corner of my office. Quick as I could, I speed-walked over to the pot and poured him a mug of coffee, still hot from the heat-retaining iron material.

"Well, Levi is very specific on how things should be." He responded as he sat down on my leather couch. I smiled and handed him the coffee, to which he smiled gratefully. "Thank you, L/N."

"Y/N." Erwin moved his eyes up to lock onto mine. "You don't have to be all formal with me." He nodded understandingly as he lifted the mug to his lips. I sunk down beside him and crossed my legs.

"Winter is the only season I truly enjoy." He remarked as he stared at the roaring fire. "It shows the true beauty of nature."

"Winter isn't the only thing that's beautiful..." I whispered behind my mug. I couldn't help but glance at Erwin's glistening blue eyes every so often. He turned to me with that damn heart-melting smile.

"Agreed." He took a long sip from his cup. "You're beautiful..."

"Oh gosh Erwin." I couldn't hide my blush from him, but he seemed shocked at his own words. With wide eyes, he gazed into my E/C eyes.

"I-I'm sorry, that wasn't appropriate of me. I might've drank a glass of wine before coming to your office." He tried to fake a guilty countenance, but he clearly was enjoying my company. I decided to bask in his embrace. With a smile, I put my cup down on the coffee table and leaned into Erwin's body. His breath hitched for a moment.
