OH THANK YOU FOR 150K AHHAHA

"Hey, Y/n!" Jay called for me. I was buzzing in excitement, wondering what it could be. Why Jay had asked for me. I was bored all day and only a certain amount of anime could suffice my needs.
I came out of my room with a hop skip and a jump and found him standing in front of my door; waiting patiently as he looked at the hardwood floor. How badly I wanted to run my fingers through his hair. Odd feeling but my fingers ached at the thought nonetheless.

A smile was planted on my face from the mere sight of him. I had no control and they curled up on their own. I felt the apples of my cheeks burning slightly but had to pray he wouldn't point out the colour change in my cheeks.

"What's up?" I played it off, but my mind was racing. I was a better actor than I was a confessor.

He dug something out of his pockets and it was a ticket. The words were sideways but the picture showed the theme park. They built a new one outside of ninjago in the sea of sands. It was very close to Jay's parents' junkyard.
None of the team had a chance to go, including me, due to our hefty schedules and training. Even though I was doing safety moves, I was never let off of training.

"I have a couple of tickets to the theme park that my parents gave me. If you want to go that is. Lloyd and Cole already said no since they are both 'busy'. How are they busy? We got a week off training. But, eh, what can you do? Sorry, I was here to ask you, not to ramble on why the others made excuses to not go. They're acting like I can't take no for an answer. I can take no for an answer. Y/n, can I take no for answer?"

My mind stopped working and the last bit he said was a blur. It felt like it flatlined. He, THE JAY WALKER, wants to go to a theme park with me!? Like a date?!!!!
"Yes!" I almost screamed, but it was still loud to make Jay flinch a bit.

He raised a brow at me. "I didn't know there was so much enthusiasm but I'll take it. Shows them both for lying to my face," he grunted. He shook his head, and gestured the ticket towards me again. I don't think that at the moment, we were on the same page. "Anyways, will you go?"  I thought I already answered this question.

"Yeah, I'll go," I said, but this time much less enthusiasm to be cool. I was too scared to ask if it was a date. Maybe he wanted to go as friends? Or he was going to confess to me there!! I can't spoil his surprise. I took the ticket from him.

"Great!" He cheered and flashed me his signature smile once more. The same one I dreamed of when I slept. I wasn't kidding when I said I love him. I forgot to mention that part. Oops. "It's tomorrow at six. So I think we have to leave at four if we want to make it on time or a bit early. Ugh, my parents eagerness to be early to everything is rubbing off on me. Exactly what I need! Heh, sorry."

"It's fine, really. What's wrong with being punctual?" The words flew out of my mouth, I didn't think.

"Now you sound like them," he chuckled; and that made me laugh as well. "Going to the airport was the worst! One time our flight is at eleven in the morning and we got there at five! After all the check-ins, we still had four hours until our flight! It was terrible!"
