thank you all for everything you gave me while writing this ❤️
#47 this one is a better version of 'mad love' (the other Kai oneshot) Even though it's shorter, the plot is ten times better
This was supposed to be a certain oneshot but it diverted so this is a whole other one.
Warning: mature language and kissing

Kai is hot- bYe
AND THANK YOU FOR 80K!!!
Kai was annoying.
He bugged me to the core. Did I know why he loved bothering me? No. Kai would constantly use pickup lines at me. He said he's trying to make me blush but I had my suspicions that a certain someone had a certain crush on me.
I literally confronted him but he denied the accusations. Of course I didn't feel that much for him. A small bit, sure. At least I wasn't a hopeless romantic and I went annoying my crush. Shit-
I had a crush on Kai.
I went to my locker and found Kai leaning on it. Speaking of the devil. I didn't tell him to move, I pushed him but he didn't budge. What the– I started pushing and not even a flinch. I gave up immediately, his smirk turned into a pout. "Don't give up, sweetheart. I'm sure you'll do it. One day." I rolled my eyes, not even bothering to hold it back. I took a breath.
"Can you please move?" I asked. He just smiled at me before stepping out of the way. I was opening my locker when Kai decided to start a conversation.
"I'm throwing an epic birthday party this Friday. I think you should come," he leaned on the locker beside mine. I sneaked a glance at him weirdly before opening the door. I didn't know what to think. The word about his party buzzed around and news traveled very fast. One side of me was like 'another lame attempt?' The other side is like 'OH MY GOD MY CRUSH WANTS ME TO GO TO HIS PARTY'.
I was in the middle of a breakdown. I played it off, as I did for everything. Well, mostly when it came to him. I sighed, merely pretending that I didn't care, "don't expect a gift."
"You'll come?!" He asked, very surprised since I usually would turn down his invites to places. I felt bad that I turned down every single invite and it was his birthday. I couldn't reject something that meant something to him. At least that was what I was trying to convince myself of. I grabbed my bag, swung it over my shoulder and put the lock back in its place, setting the dial to zero.
"Don't change my mind, Smith," I told him as I started to walk away. I swear, I heard him cheer a bit the farther I walked away from him. I giggled, my steps never faltering as they were headed towards the door.
I knew Kai was popular and his party was an understatement to that title. His place was jam packed with people. Kai was the last thing everyone thought about because he was standing right at the front door, deep in thought. When he saw me, his eyes lit up in amusement, getting off the wall by pushing his leg. I smiled, handing him a small box. His smirk never faltered, his eyebrow raising mischievously. He lifted the box, inspecting it. I know I'm a horrible gift wrapper but come on, cut me some slack. "I thought you said you weren't going to get me anything."
