"Fuck!"
Jisu rolled her eyes slightly as she placed her pen down, turning her head to look at the kitchen where the noise source came from. She sighed as she got up from her seat, pushing open the kitchen door.
"What is it now Min Jeong-" Jisu started before she froze in her tracks, seeing the mayonnaise splattered on the floor as broken pieces of glass surrounded it. Jisu looked at Min Jeong in disbelief, who smiled at her meekly.
Jisu sighed irritably before grabbing two rags and throwing one to Min Jeong, chuckling slightly before she got on her knees. Min Jeong followed after her, wiping the floor clean from mayonnaise.
"You're cool. You have so much experience." Jisu snorted as Min Jeong threw a compliment, gushing. Jisu shook her head in amusement, glancing at Min Jeong who looked at her eagerly.
"I've only worked here for 7 more months than you. Besides, stop it. It's weird, having known you since high school." Jisu scrunched her nose, laughing teasingly as Min Jeong nudged her shoulder.
"Any plans after the shift?" Jisu hummed, looking at the younger one enquiringly as she continued wiping the floor. Min Jeong shrugged before getting up on her feet to wash the rags, helping Jisu with hers.
"Ningning's picking me up. She's dragging me to the karaoke bar." Jisu chuckled softly hearing the dread in Min Jeong's voice. She leaned against the counter, her eyes losing focus as she drifted into her thoughts.
"Penny for your thoughts?" Min Jeong hummed, offering a smile to Jisu seeing her jolt in surprise at the piercing voice in the silence. Jisu smiled weakly, shaking her head shyly.
"Do you believe...in love at first sight?" Min Jeong snorted as she looked at Jisu, raising an eyebrow as she couldn't contain her laugh. Jisu pouted, nudging her in embarrassment.
"Well, I think I do..." Min Jeong hummed in response, now washing her hands after washing the dirty cloths that were once stained with mayonnaise.
"But it didn't end too well though. Daewon and I broke up only after a couple of months." Min Jeong looked up, scrunching her face, totally unfazed about talking about her breakup. He was a douchebag anyway.
Jisu hummed in response, playing with her fingers. The duo enjoyed the silence and running of water as Min Jeong washed her hands thoroughly. Her eyes widened as she suddenly realized something.
"Why the sudden question?" Min Jeong turned the tap off, furrowing her eyebrows as a sly smile tugged on her lips. Jisu turned pink as she looked away, rolling her eyes as she heard Min Jeong coo.
