"I'm going home now." Min Jeong hummed as she slung her bag on her shoulder after taking off her apron. Jisu nodded, her eyes never tearing away from the textbook. Min Jeong scoffed before walking in front of her, slamming her hand on the book, shocking Jisu.
"Yah! Your friend's greeting you and all you can do now is study?" Min Jeong pouted, scowling at Jisu. Jisu chuckled before slowly closing her book, smiling.
Min Jeong's eyebrows furrowed in confusion when she saw Jisu's smile falter before she looked down, tracing smiley faces on her textbook. Min Jeong sighed dramatically before leaning onto the counter, making Jisu glance at her.
"Alright, what's wrong?" Min Jeong gestured to Jisu to start speaking, making Jisu crack a smile. Min Jeong liked to show disinterest in lots of things, but if it was Jisu, she always wants to know.
"Um...my dad called last night..." Jisu mumbled, playing with her fingers as she avoided eye contact with Min Jeong, shifting uncomfortably in her seat. Min Jeong bit her lip slightly seeing how troubled Jisu looked.
"Tell you what. When does your shift end?" Min Jeong hummed, tapping her fingers on her bag strap as she let her eyes wander around the room, shy to admit she was worried about Jisu.
"In an hour or so, why?" Jisu checked the watch on her wrist, looking at Min Jeong enquiringly. Min Jeong sighed at Jisu's density before shaking her head, a smile playing on her lips.
"Dummy, I want to talk to you about it. Obviously, it must seem uncomfortable so I'm proposing we talk when you're not on your shift." Min Jeong laughed slightly as the tips of Jisu's ears turned pink in embarrassment.
Jisu smiled over at Min Jeong who had taken off her bag and put her apron back on, deciding to help out with the tasks Jisu was ordered to do. Despite the loud complaints coming from her mouth, Jisu could see the concern in her eyes that made her heart warm.

"So? What's troubling bubbly Choi Jisu?" Min Jeong asked before sipping on her cup of coffee, making the elder sigh at her slightly disrespectful behavior shown toward her.
The duo had decided to grab a coffee, ironically, from another cafe before Min Jeong walked Jisu home, hoping to cheer her up after seeing the down expression she had observed when staying back to help.
Jisu sighed as she looked down at their synchronized footsteps as they walked along the pavement next to the bustling road. She ran a hand through her hair, hesitant to spill. Min Jeong linked arms with her, offering an encouraging smile having spotted her hesitant state.
"Jimin's pregnant." Jisu blurted out, eyes widening as she placed a hand on her mouth, surprised at herself for the sudden outburst. Min Jeong stared at her in disbelief before she nudged Jisu slightly, signaling her to continue.
