"Flower Oppa!" Soobin lifted his head at the old nickname Yun-jae used to address him by when she was in elementary school. He shook his shoes off before walking toward her.
"What's up?" Soobin hummed as he ruffled her hair, Yun-jae busy surfing through the tv for the movie she wanted to watch. A yelp of surprise left Soobin's lips as Yun-jae suddenly pulled him down on the sofa to sit next to her.
"Can you please watch Harry Potter with me?" Yun-jae pleaded cutely, pouting as she looked at her brother with eyes gleaming in excitement. Soobin chuckled before shaking his head lightly.
"Which one are we watching?" Soobin hummed as he draped a hand over Yun-Jae's shoulder, leaning back as he let his feet rest on the coffee table in front of them, Yun-jae following suit.
"The deadly hallows, part 1." Soobin nodded his head mindlessly as he let himself get comfortable on the sofa to enjoy the movie, Yun-jae lying by his side as her eyes trained on the screen in front of her.
>>>
Soobin yawned slightly as the hot weather of the afternoon made the pair of siblings tired. Soobin massaged Yun-jae's legs which were sprawled on his lap, still watching the movie.
His movements faltered as the part where the locket creates an illusion shows Ron that Hermione and Harry were in love with each other. He spaced out for a while, only jolting out of his thoughts when Ron pierced the illusion with the sword.
"I'm going to go take a quick nap, finish without me alright?" Soobin managed to squeeze out some words before Yun-jae moved her legs so Soobin could walk to his room.
He watched her stretch her limbs before letting her whole body occupy the sofa for maximum comfort while watching the movie. He looked away before walking toward his room, pupils shaking.
He lay on his bed, gripping the duvet tightly as he squeezed his eyes shut tight. He let out a long sigh before letting himself curl up on the bed, slowly drifting off to sleep true to his word.
Soobin looked around the club which seemed familiar, but couldn't pinpoint which one it could've been. He looked around the club, sounds muted as he watched the people dance with a weird look as there was no music accompaniment.
His eyes widened as a bracelet flew across the room. He watched it travel across the room before his eyes landed on two people kissing. His jaw dropped open as he watched her run a hand through his hair while kissing him.
Soobin screamed his lungs out, trying to move forward but was tied to the ground, his scream also muted. He fell to his knees, gripping onto his hair like a madman as the scene kept on replaying on and on.
He couldn't tear his eyes away from the two people so enchanted by the magical kiss that they didn't notice the man they were close to cripple to his feet in despair.
>>>
"Soobin? Soobin!" Soobin gasped as his eyes opened wide, feeling a pair of arms shake him. He looked over to who was shaking him to see Yun-jae looking at him with a worried look on her face.
"Ew, I'm sweating." Soobin scrunched his nose as he wiped the sweat off his forehead, trying to forget the nightmare he just had. He gasped before looking at Yun-jae with an incredulous look having been just slapped on the shoulder by her.
"Seriously?! That's the first thing you say?" Soobin furrowed his eyebrows in confusion seeing the normally timid girl raise her voice at him with a stern expression on her face.
Soobin's mouth hung open in disbelief as he watched her huff and walk out of the room in exasperation. He scratched the back of his neck, trying to fully wake up from his nap.
"Beomgyu wants you at the cafe!" Soobin flinched slightly before cursing under his breath when Yun-jae suddenly screamed from her room. Soobin groaned before getting out of his bed.
He dragged himself to the door before the mirror caught his attention. He looked himself up and down, disgusted to find out he was sweaty all over. He made a gagging motion before retreating back to the bathroom to freshen up.
>>>
"Geez..." Beomgyu mumbled seeing his brother bang his head on the counter. He raised an eyebrow as he listened to the incoherent mumbles coming out of Soobin's mouth.
"Why'd you call me?" Soobin mumbled as he raised his head, eyes half-closed as he felt done with the whole world. Beomgyu looked over at Soobin with a look of disbelief as he cleaned the dishes.
"Seriously? After telling me 187 times to remind you to come here to meet up with this girl called 'Jisu'?" Soobin's eyes widened in realization as he mentally cursed himself.
"Look, can you tell her if she comes that I-" Beomgyu coughed slightly seeing a girl approaching the two, cutting Soobin off mid-sentence. Soobin turned to lock eyes with Jisu, who offered a cute smile as she played with her pigtails.
"Why'd you want to meet me here?" Jisu smiled slightly as she swayed side by side, scanning the cafe and its interesting theme of bears. Soobin looked at Beomgyu for help, who shrugged his shoulders with an exasperated look on his face.
"Did I interrupt something?" Jisu's eyes widened guiltily as she placed a hand over her mouth. Soobin looked over to her, clearly distressed by the sudden situation they were thrown in. It didn't help that Beomgyu didn't want to help.
"I'm sorry-" "Shut up! Shut up!" Soobin shouted, attracting the attention of the others in the cafe. Everyone stared at him wide-eyed as he fumed in anger, but certainly not at Jisu.
"You two-faced bitch! You probably don't mean your apologies at all! I don't want to see you. Go away. Get out!" Jisu's eyes gleamed in shock as she staggered backward before running out of the cafe.
Gasps rang through the customers as Beomgyu delivered a slap on Soobin's face, making him wake up to his senses. He stared at the door with a hand on his cheek.
He just screamed at the most innocent girl in the world for no reason at all.
It was safe to say Soobin felt like an A-class ass. He bit his lip guiltily as he couldn't will himself to follow after her. Beomgyu looked at him, incredulous about the attitude he had just shown to the girl.
"I feel so messed up," Soobin whispered under his breath, burying his face in his hands as he felt the inside of his heart hollow. The nightmare itself scared him, but the fact that he screamed at possibly his second chance at love? Terrifying.
Beomgyu looked at his brother pitifully before his eyes wandered over to his customers who were still looking at Soobin in shock. He cleared his throat before raising an eyebrow at them, piercing them with his fierce gaze.
