"Liamon!" Min Jeong squealed excitedly seeing the familiar girl enter the cafe quietly. She ran toward her, crashing into her as she gave her a bone-crushing hug. Jisu giggled slightly before returning the hug as well.
"Jisu, it's good to see you again." the duo pulled away from each other when they heard the male's voice. Jisu bowed thankfully toward the manager, who gave her a warm smile.
"Yah, it was so boring without you!" Min Jeong whined as she linked arms with Jisu, guiding her to the locker room as if she had forgotten the way. Jisu shook her head slightly at her best friend before retrieving back her hand.
As Jisu was placing her bag into her locker, Min Jeong's sharp eyes had managed to spot the unfamiliar bracelet lying on her wrist. She gasped dramatically, pointing to it. Jisu followed Min Jeong's eyes to realize she was staring at her bracelet.
"What's that?" Min Jeong asked excitedly as Jisu let out a gasp before covering up her wrist, turning slightly pink. Jisu continued to ignore Min Jeong as she put on her apron, biting her lip to stop herself from exposing herself.
"It's from Soobin, innit?" Min Jeong cackled softly, muffling her laugh with her hand when Jisu nudged her to tell her to keep quiet. She cleared her throat slightly seeing her manager passing by them.
"I expect to hear everything." Min Jeong murmured under her breath before rushing toward the kitchen to avoid greeting the manager. The manager offered Jisu a concerned look before she shrugged her shoulders, confused about her friend's behavior as well.

"Ok; we're ready." Min Jeong huffed before resting her chin on her palm, staring at Jisu intently as she waited for her to start the story of how she got the bracelet. Jisu rolled her eyes before pretending to be busy to avoid the question.
Jisu pouted slightly when Min Jeong nudged her restlessly, expecting to hear the exciting story. Jisu played with the bracelet, bracing herself for all the questions she was about to be bombarded with.
"Jichuu! My motherfucking baby!" Jisu flinched slightly hearing someone call her out before they started to curse. Her expression relaxed slightly just realizing it was Yeji who was slightly tipsy.
She bit back a smile as she heard Min Jeong sigh, knowing she was going to give up on her pursuit now that Yeji was here. Min Jeong glared at Yeji begrudgingly before getting up and walking away.
"Sorry I couldn't come for the bridesmaid party..." Jisu mumbled smally, to which Yeji waved off. Jisu chuckled seeing her friend's eyes that weren't even fully open and her ears that were beetroot red.
"Do you want me to call Yeonjun for you?" Jisu chuckled as she watched Yeji rest her head on the table, hands over her head as she groaned drunkenly, Jisu predicting that her massive migraine was coming.
"No; let him enjoy the bachelor party. He was pretty bummed when Beomgyu told him Soobin couldn't come." Jisu pursed her lips remembering the story. She mentally slapped herself to stay optimistic before playing with the bracelet to lift her spirits up.
Yeji lifted her head and followed Jisu's gaze to find the bracelet. She was awoken to her senses as the familiar charms sobered her up. She cleared her throat before leaning in, grabbing Jisu's wrists gently.
"Who gave you this?..." Yeji chuckled in awe as she traced the charms, getting a hint of what had happened since the last time she visited Jisu. Jisu raised an eyebrow questioningly, letting Yeji play with the charms.
"Soobin gave it to me as a gift...to cheer me up," Jisu recalled slowly, looking at Yeji with a slightly concerned look as she was watching the bracelet intently as if it held great value.
"Did he tell you the significance of this bracelet?" Yeji smiled giddily, looking at Jisu eagerly. Her smile faltered when Jisu shook her head with furrowed eyebrows.
"Wait, so he didn't use this as a confession?" Yeji gasped dumbfoundedly, looking back and forth from the bracelet to Jisu. Jisu looked at Yeji inquiringly, curious as to why Yeji knew much more about the bracelet's value than her.
"What do you know? Tell me!" Jisu whined as she continued to nudge Yeji when she shook her head firmly. Seeing the desperate look in her eyes, Yeji released a heavy sigh before hesitantly leaning in.
"I told Soobin to give the girl he likes this bracelet as some confession. It even has my blessing in it." Yeji said proudly, tapping on one of the charms. Jisu stared at the bracelet, eyes widened slightly as her cheeks grew red.
There was silence between the two until it was interrupted when Yeji's phone started ringing. She furrowed her eyebrows as she whipped out her phone.
"Oop, I have to go. Yeonjun's finding me." Yeji waved goodbye to her friend before rushing out of the cafe. Min Jeong, who had been sneakily watching, scurried toward Jisu excitedly, wondering what got her so flustered.
"Soobin confessed to me without knowing?..." Jisu stuttered, still lost as she gripped tightly on the bracelet. Min Jeong covered her mouth in shock, staring at Jisu excitedly.
"I just told him to come to cheer you up, not propose!" Min Jeong bounced up and down as it all started to make sense. Jisu did a double take hearing what Min Jeong said before turning to face her.
"Wait a minute, you told him to come over?" Min Jeong froze before locking eyes with Jisu, offering a sheepish smile before waving it off and continue telling her about the new discovery they had just made.
"Do you know what this means Jisu? He likes you back! For realsies!" Min Jeong squealed as she continuously slapped her best friend's arm. Jisu scowled before swatting her hand away despite the obvious red coating her cheeks.
"But what if he forgot...and just gave this as a friend?" Jisu frowned slightly as she started to overthink, lowering her head to stare at the bracelet. Min Jeong pursed her lips before putting a hand on her friend's shoulder.
"Go ask him about it." Min Jeong urged, making Jisu look over at her for validation. She gave a firm nod, which made Jisu huff in determination. She threw the cloth she was holding away before storming toward the front door bravely.
"Jisu-yah, I meant after your shift." Min Jeong laughed as Jisu scurried back upon realizing, growing red in embarrassment as her friend continued to laugh at her eagerness.
