Soobin stifled a yawn as he entered his room, tired after a long day of dealing with his siblings' nonsense. He closed the door after him, walking straight to his bed before flopping himself on it.

He shifted around so that he would face the ceiling, pondering over the events that took place that day. He pursed his lips as he laid his head on his hand, his mind repeating his sibling's words over and over again.

It was then when Soobin came to realize that the only reason why he hasn't confessed even though his feelings were as obvious as daylight was because he was scared of getting rejected again.

But what did he have to worry about? It seemed that Jisu reciprocated his feelings after observing her behavior whenever he came over. It was his cowardice that was preventing him from taking any further action for the next step of their relationship.

Soobin was old-school, anyone would've known if they'd been friends with him long enough. He grabbed one of the notebooks that he always kept in the drawer beside his bed to jot down his late-night thoughts. He tried to write it on his phone, but it only hurt his eyes so he went back to his old habits.

As the night slipped away, Soobin had written up a grand plan on how he'd work to make the confession of the lifetime. It was so detailed that if he ever had a worry in the future, there would already be a solution. Soobin wasn't the type to be so meticulous, but this is love we're talking about.

He felt his eyelids instantly get droopy the moment he closed the notebook. He placed it back on the drawer before snuggling into the covers, a small smile of accomplishment etched on his face as he drifted off into a dreamless sleep.

"Min Jeong, do you want to go for ice cream later?" Jisu asked hopefully as she turned to her friend has been packing her English textbook in her bag, finishing up everything she had planned to do that day.

"Sorry Liamon, I'm having a family dinner today, and I can't cancel. My mother would freak." Min Jeong shuddered before shooting an apologetic smile. Jisu scrunched up her nose in disappointment before shrugging, assuring her friend that she'll be okay.

The manager had called in Jisu to tell Jisu that she won't be able to do the night shift since they were going to train the new people they hired, but they'll still be paying her for it. Free money, so Jisu didn't protest.

Jisu had an hour left before she could leave, but she was already restless having nothing to do since she didn't want to go home so early. She tugged on her earring mindlessly as her eyes wandered to the glass window.

Jisu released her grip on her earring as she came up with an idea. A smile tugged at her lips having finally thought of what to do later. Jisu tapped her fingers on the counter happily as she waited for a customer restlessly.
