"Can I have your speaker? Let's play some music while we clean." Min Jeong pleaded as she offered Jisu a cute pout. Jisu dragged out a sigh before taking out her pink portable speaker and passing it to her.

Min Jeong grinned happily before connecting the speaker wirelessly to her phone and playing the first song on her playlist. Jisu chuckled seeing Min Jeong grab a mop and start cleaning, mouthing the lyrics into the mop like it was a standing mic.

"This my party, I can cry when I want to~" Min Jeong sang along with a hint of sass in her voice, matching the mood of the catchy song. Jisu rolled her eyes as Min Jeong gestured for her to join in on her singing session of "Mascara" by XG.

Before she knew it, the duo were goofing off as they cleaned up the store without any worries having been the only workers in the place, the manager going back home early for dinner with his in-laws.

Jisu shook her head in amusement seeing Min Jeong scowl since there was a problem with her wifi and the song had been stopped midway. Jisu turned her attention to cleaning the counter, only lifting her head back up again after hearing the door to the cafe open.

"Sorry we're closed-" Min Jeong started as she lifted her head, jaw dropping open as her grip on her phone slackened. Jisu stiffened up seeing the familiar guy standing there awkwardly, staring at Min Jeong.

Min Jeong let out a disappointed sigh seeing Daewon in front of her. Min Jeong walked away to put back the mop without another word. Daewon sighed slightly, expecting to be ignored but still tried his luck anyway.

"Min Jeong-" "Do you hear something?" Min Jeong asked Jisu sarcastically, refusing to acknowledge the presence of her ex in the room. Jisu glanced at Daewon to see him looking away with an exasperated look.

"Sworn I heard a bitch up in here." Min Jeong sneered before shrugging, continuing to walk about. Daewon looked at her with an offended look, mouth wide open as he glared at her.

"Yah, Kim Min Jeong." Min Jeong froze hearing Daewon addressing her by her full name. She glanced at him pointily before continuing with her work. Daewon decided to continue, knowing that she'd hear him either way.

"Let's get back together." The room fell into an eerie silence as Daewon's words sunk in. A chuckle left Min Jeong's lips as she turned to face Daewon with an incredulous look on her face.

"Oh yeah? What happened to that little side bitch of yours?" Min Jeong spat as she turned to face Daewon with a murderous glare. Jisu glanced between the two exes, knowing how it'd turn out, and started to pity Daewon.

"Must've realized you only talk a big game." Min Jeong smirked as she shrugged before turning her back to him and starting to walk away, before having to stop in her tracks at the next thing Daewon said.

"Min Jeong, saying song lyrics won't get you out of this." Min Jeong's hands curled up in fists hearing Daewon snicker at the geeky behavior she's developed since she was in middle school.

"Oh really?" Min Jeong challenged as she narrowed her eyes, turning to face Daewon with a competitive look. She cleared her throat before holding up her ten fingers, beginning.

"Ten, you're selfish
Nine, you're jaded
Eight, the dumbest guy I dated
Seven, talk a big game 'til you're naked
Only six seconds and I had to fake it
Five, you're toxic
Four, can't trust you
Three, you still got mommy issues
Two years of your bullshit I can't undo
One, I hate the fact that you made me love you."

Min Jeong dusted her hands as Jisu looked at her in awe, Daewon looking at her in disbelief. Min Jeong cleared her throat as she ran a hand through her hair.

"Anything else you want to add?" Min Jeong hummed coolly as she looked at Daewon innocently, knowing she was succeeding in getting onto his nerves. He huffed in exasperation before walking out of the cafe.

"You have to teach me how to do that." Jisu whistled as she smirked at Min Jeong. Min Jeong giggled before offering Jisu finger guns before they continued to clean up with the accompaniment of music.

"I'll get going first, tell me when you reach home, alright?" Min Jeong hummed as she offered a goodbye hug to Jisu. Jisu nodded her head obediently before waving goodbye to her friend who had called a taxi to bring her home, too lazy to take the bus.

She scrolled through her phone as she waited for the taxi, too immersed to notice someone come up to her. She raised her head hearing someone nearby her clear their throat.

Her eyes widened in surprise seeing Soobin stand in front of her with a sheepish smile. Her eyes hardened as she looked back at her phone, choosing to ignore him. Soobin pursed his lips watching Jisu ignore him, but he didn't give up.

"Jisu, I'm sorry-" "I don't want to hear it." Jisu interrupted, making Soobin's eyes widen in surprise. He never expected Jisu to turn him down without even hearing him out.

Sensing how dumbfounded he was at the moment, Jisu looked up from her phone, locking eyes with Soobin. She dragged out a small sigh before putting her phone back into her bag.

"I don't want to hear your reasoning. You're probably here because you know your actions couldn't justify whatever your reason was for screaming at me.

If you knew better, you would've given me some space. But because you're selfish, you decided the best option was to come and ask for forgiveness."

Jisu's eyes strayed away seeing her taxi pull up. She walked past Soobin and pulled open the car door before turning back to him.

"I'll see you when I'm ready." Soobin watched Jisu get into the car and slam the door after her, staring after the car, lost for words. He looked down at the gift he got for Jisu before sighing slightly. He deserved that.

Min Jeong watched him walk away dejectedly, frozen in shock at how she had influenced her normally warmhearted friend to do what she would normally not do.

Min Jeong bit her lip guiltily as she scratched her head, conflicted about what she saw.
