"We're all really distraught about this, so please bare with us." Soobin chuckled weakly as he turned his back on Jisu to open the door again. Jisu smiled slightly before Soobin pushed open the door, revealing the same scene she saw just now.

"Guys, Jisu's here." Soobin hummed as the attention of the two of them was diverted to Jisu. Beomgyu sniffled as he rubbed his eyes before standing up to greet Jisu.

Without a word, Jisu pulled Beomgyu into a comforting hug, shushing him gently as he broke out into another round of sobs. Out of the corner of her eye, she saw Yun-Jae eyeing them timidly.

With a warm smile, Jisu gestured for her to join. Yun-Jae pursed her lips before scurrying over, moving to the side as Jisu wrapped her left arm around her torso, patting both their backs.

After having persuaded Soobin to join in silently, they enjoyed a group hug as Jisu felt like a mother. So this was how nice it felt to be Cammy. Without her knowing, a few tears had also started to run down her cheeks as she continued to cheer up the three siblings gently.

"What's wrong?" Jisu hummed after managing to calm everyone down, all of them seated on the sofa already. Soobin stretched his arm out to pick out a piece of paper that was lying on the coffee table before giving it to Jisu.

Jisu read its contents silently, having lots to say, but kept her mouth shut so she didn't make the siblings feel worse. She was astonished that a father would run away just because of his cowardice.

The siblings watched Jisu wearily as she hummed knowingly, placing the paper back onto the table. She pursed her lips as she played with her hands, the siblings giving her time to think despite how impatient they were.

"I really can only help you with paying off your father's debt. I can't really do anything to bring your father back." Jisu sighed before running a hand through her hair, stressed. Soobin smiled before patting her back, assuring her it was okay.

"Could you help me get paper and a pen? A calculator would help as well." Jisu hummed, looking at all three siblings, wondering who would be willing to help. Beomgyu eventually got up to fetch the items Jisu needed.

Once he returned, Jisu thanked him quietly before clicking the pen as Beomgyu went back to his seat. Jisu quickly scribbled down a title before circling it, deciding to make some sort of mindmap.

"Soobin, if I'm not mistaken, you have a car, right? I'm sorry, but I think you need to sell it." Jisu looked over at him, giving him a guilty smile as she saw him wince. Soobin nodded his head reluctantly as he released a long sigh.

"The car would only cost around 20 thousand since it's second-hand. That's not even 1 million won..." Soobin sighed in frustration as he pulled on his hair. Jisu pursed her lips, trying to find solutions.

"Beomgyu, how many workers do you have under you?" Jisu hummed, switching her attention to Beomgyu as she felt hopeful about the new idea she had. Beomgyu quickly calculated in his head and came up with the answer of twenty-five, 20 part-timers, 5 of them working full-time.

"I think retrenching them is too much, could you tell them you have to deduct 20% of their salary?" Beomgyu nodded his head along, knowing most of his staff were pretty loyal and some of them were well off, they just wanted the experience.

"After deducting all of that, you guys paid off 4 million and 10 thousand..." Jisu sighed slightly as she scratched her head, her brain juice nearly gone with the number of things she had to think off.

"Is it too much if you guys sacrifice about 5% of your savings?" Jisu hummed, looking at all three of them. They nodded in validation before taking out their phones to check how much is in their bank account.

"Mine's 3 million." Soobin hummed, looking at both his siblings who had furrowed their eyebrows trying to find out how to find out about the amount they had in their bank account.

"5 million for me." Beomgyu hummed as he gave a cheeky smirk to Soobin. Soobin rolled his eyes slightly since Beomgyu had a job that paid well while he was still focusing on his studies.

"25 thousand won." Yun-Jae's ears turned red as she couldn't even defend herself since she was so embarrassed. Beomgyu patted her back knowingly, her pocket money from dad wasn't that much in the first place.

"Ok, now that's 12 million and 35 thousand won." Jisu huffed as she bit on her nails, thinking hard. She flinched slightly when Yun-Jae stood up and hurried to her room.

Seeing as she wasn't coming back, Jisu assured the boys that she'd take care of it before walking to her room. Soobin and Beomgyu looked at each other, knowing how upset Yun-Jae must be since she adored her father.

Jisu knocked on the door softly before opening it after hearing the hum come from the room. She closed the door after she saw Yun-Jae on the bed, processing.

"I know it's hard..." Jisu hummed kindly as she sat next to Yun-Jae without saying another word. They sat there in silence, Jisu letting Yun-Jae process for a while.

"It's just hard, you know? Learning that the person you look up to had a gambling addiction and fled." Yun-Jae sniffled as she lowered her head. Jisu nodded knowingly, letting out a deep sigh before continuing.

"After my dad left my mom, she developed a smoking addiction. It got so bad that she got pancreatic cancer. She felt bad, so she tried to take her life. She didn't die but she got paralyzed from the hip down because of the impact. And...a few days ago, she passed away." Jisu held in her tears as she swallowed the lump in her throat, playing with her fingers.

"Despite that, she was a great mother. She cared for me so much. I'm sure your father did too, despite leaving you and your brothers." Yun-Jae looked at Jisu sympathetically before pulling her into a hug, needing a hug too anyway.

"We're going to be okay, right?" Yun-Jae hummed as she rested her chin on Jisu's shoulder. Jisu nodded her head as she patted Yun-Jae's back reassuringly, trying to believe that she would also get better after time goes by.

"It hurts, but we have to be strong for our siblings." Jisu sniffed as she rubbed Yun-Jae's arm, smiling encouragingly. Yun-Jae offered a weak smile in return before nodding her head slightly.

"By the way, did you get your revenge on that boy?" Jisu snapped her fingers as a gasp left her lips having remembered the last time she came over. Yun-Jae chuckled before nodding her head eagerly, scooching closer as she intended to whisper the details in Jisu's ear.

The two relived their mischievous plan, laughing at how spectacular the plan had turned out and how he lost face in front of the badminton team. He even had the audacity to ask her out again, but Yun-Jae didn't even bat a single eyelid.

She turned and walked away like the girl boss she should be.
