"Thanks a lot, Jisu. I appreciate it." Soobin smiled awkwardly as he opened the front door, greeting the silent girl that stood outside. She hummed in response before Soobin invited her in.

"She's in her room; I'll wait here for you guys." Soobin rubbed his arms against his pants, pointing in the direction of the girl's room. Jisu nodded before turning around and walking to the room.

A small smile grew on her lips thinking about how caring Soobin was as a brother despite his awkwardness and clumsiness. It was one of his hidden charms anyways.

Jisu leaned in closer to the door, hearing the sniffles that came from the room. She knocked on the door slowly before hearing that the sniffles had come to a stop. Inviting herself in, she looked at Yun-Jae with a shy smile.

"J-Jisu unnie-" Jisu shushed the stuttering girl, assuring her it was okay before gesturing for her to sit on the bed and taking her place next to her. The duo was plunged into an awkward silence before Jisu decided to break it.

"Soobin called me over to talk to you, even though he knew I'm not fond of him at the moment." Jisu hummed, looking over at Yun-Jae who looked down at her hands with puffy eyes.

Jisu gently grabbed her hands, attracting her attention. Yun-Jae's puffy and swollen eyes told Jisu how much pain the girl was in. Jisu offered a soft smile before rubbing her back soothingly.

"Want to talk about it?" Jisu hummed invitingly, tilting her head as an adorable grin was plastered on her face, making Yun-Jae smile as well. She nodded her head weakly before rubbing her nose, taking in a deep breath to ready herself.

"But, promise not to tell any of my brothers." Yun-Jae pleaded, to which Jisu nodded her head obediently, making a zip motion with her fingers at her mouth, indicating that she would keep her mouth shut.

"I liked this boy and I thought he liked me too...he even invited me to his badminton game. But I learned in the afternoon that he didn't reciprocate my feelings. He...um...embarrassed me in front of his teammates. I was used for a comedic skit."

Jisu's eyes softened seeing Yun-Jae's eyes turn glossy as she balled her hands into fists, her voice going shaky. Yun-Jae looked at Jisu for validation before Jisu pulled her into a hug, stroking her hair.

"Fury doesn't always mean a bad thing. If you feel fury, that means you feel injustice and therefore, know how to correct things." Jisu hummed, comforting the younger as best as she could. She tried to remember the things LeeMin used to say to her when she was upset, but her mind chose to go blank at the worst possible time.

"Why are you sad?" Jisu asked again, which shocked Yun-Jae. Yun-Jae furrowed her eyebrows before repeating her answer slowly, confused as to why she was asked to repeat her answer.

"And what do you think would help you feel better?" Jisu asked, grinning slightly as she watched Yun-Jae ponder about it. Sensing Jisu's mischievous side ready to pounce, she sighed slightly before replying with a small smile.

"I guess I'd like to get my revenge on him." Jisu giggled maniacally, rubbing her hands together as her brain came up with an ingenious plan. Yun-Jae looked at her worriedly, concerned for her sanity.

Jisu had ordered her to get a notebook before Yun-Jae had started to flip the pages. The next hour was spent on them coming up with the weirdest ideas on how to get revenge, which surprisingly made Yun-Jae feel much better.

Soobin stood outside the door hearing the girls giggling away with a soft smile. It seemed as if both of them were fine now. He continued to stand outside, hearing Yun-Jae's soft giggles and Jisu's cackling with a euphoric feeling.

"Yun-Jae got into bed," Jisu mumbled shyly as she walked into the living room seeing Soobin seated on the sofa watching tv. He looked over at her with that darn bunny smile that always sent butterflies in her stomach.

"Thank you, Soobin." Jisu smiled softly as a breathy chuckle escaped her lips. She thanked the Lord Soobin wasn't dense enough to realize what she was thanking him for as she saw the endearing smile playing on his lips.

Unintentionally, Soobin had lifted her spirits compared to when she was at the hospital earlier, rarely cracking into a smile as she watched over her unconscious mother. She hadn't woken up in 2 days.

"Jisu?" Soobin hummed, standing up. Jisu hummed in response, smiling politely as she nodded her head, gesturing for him to continue speaking. Soobin pursed his lips as he thought about how to phrase his statement.

"I'm sorry about what happened to your mother. It wasn't my intention." Soobin apologized sincerely, looking at Jisu with desperate eyes. Jisu chuckled before walking toward Soobin confusing him slightly.

He turned his head as his eyes followed to where she walked. She had walked behind him, which confused him further. However, feeling the arms wrap around him from the back, his cheeks turned a deep red as his heart thumped against his chest.

"Isn't it supposed to be the other way?" Soobin attempted to snicker, but his voice had unfortunately cracked because of his flustered state, making Jisu chuckle at his goofy behavior.

"I can feel your heart going crazy," Jisu whispered as her hands traveled to his chest, making him even wilder. Forget the butterflies, there was a zoo in his stomach as he felt as if he would go into cardiac arrest anytime soon with how fast his heart was beating.

"I can turn the tables too," Soobin mumbled, making Jisu giggle at his cute attitude. Soobin furrowed his eyebrows, thinking that she was challenging him. Well, the challenge was accepted.

Jisu nearly lost her balance when Soobin broke free from her grip with ease. Grabbing her hand, Soobin pulled Jisu toward him to prevent her from falling making her collide with his chest.

Their rapid heartbeats were in sync as Soobin wrapped his arms around Jisu's petite figure. Jisu grew beetroot red, matching the color that Soobin's face also wore. They stayed in the position, enjoying how the other had them smitten.

Jisu quickly pulled away before massaging her beating heart, gasping for air as her mobile phone interrupted the silence. A chuckle left Soobin's lips as he touched his face, trying to cool his heated face.

"Hello?" Jisu hummed as nonchalantly as she could, glaring at Soobin who had trouble containing his laugh seeing how red Jisu was. Jisu's smile faltered as her eyes lost the mischievous sparkle having heard the words from the other line.

"Jung Cammy is in a critical state, her heart rate is dropping rapidly. Please come to the hospital quickly."
